Sheri Olson Architecture PLLC

Sheri is awesome, but that doesn't even begin to describe her contribution to our remodel project. We were complete newbies and she helped us from the very beginning all the way through the design, planning, permitting and construction of our condo remodel. There was never a moment when she wasn't available to help and answer questions, of which we had many. She even introduced us to an affordable and hardworking contractor, which was a huge concern for us in such a crowded and busy market. As far as the final product? Sheri has an excellent eye and did a fantastic job listening to what we wanted. Because of this, she was able to translate the ideas and concepts in our minds into the designs, materials and colors that worked best for us. And when we came out of left field with a new tile choice? "Great idea, and have you thought of also changing the counter tops to match the accents in the tile." She could have done it all on her own (and we would have loved it), but she truly made us feel like we were driving the ship and creating OUR house. In short, Sheri is an excellent architect with a trained eye, and she has the ability to make the most stressful of projects easy, even to the newest of homeowners. We'll be calling her again someday, I'm sure.

First of all Sheri Olson was always a professional. When an appointment was made it was kept unless there were some unusual circumstances, and I was always informed promptly. As a customer, I had some ideas that I wanted/wished for and found out that County code would not allow certain extensions, but she was able to develop a plan that would resolve most issues. Also, as far as design, color, appliances, tile, etc, we were both on the "same page". We had no disagreements. I did start out with a budget, and after reviewing the final plans and receiving bids from contractors, my budget had to be increased, which I understood, She did offer me some ways to save cost on the project, which I rejected, because I liked the design so much that the cost savings I thought would inflict too much damage and not be in keeping with my original content. I would recommend Sheri Olson Architecture to anyone who appreciates great design and have a budget to follow through with their ideas.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with Sheri on our remodel. We are putting a addition on the house to gain wheelchair accessibility, and Sheri has been a great partner, coming up with innovative solutions and helping to keep costs down.
