David Timmons has been a professionally licensed architect in the State of Arizona for the past 27 years and in addition to his architectural license, he gained over 35 years of architectural experience working through all phases of project development and design. Traveling throughout Europe to eighteen different countries, including North & Central America, has inspired David to utilize old-world materials & textures, applying these elegant yet timeless flourishes to contemporary open designs with a focus on sustainability. David's experience working in the construction field has given him insight into the construction phase of projects. He has worked directly with contractors, placing foundations, slabs, metal stud framing and drywall as well as hanging grid ceilings. All of these experiences have expanded his understanding beyond the typical scope of architecture, making his attention to architectural details even more thought out. Spaces are created in order to reflect functional, technical, social, environmental, and aesthetic considerations of our clients while also being mindful of the preservation of the surrounding natural environment. David Timmons Architectural Design Studio was formed in 1991 originally with the main focus in high-end custom residential designs. Since then, the studio has expanded its areas of expertise to include commercial, public projects, sustainable design, and tenant improvements.
