Peter is great to work with. Our house needed to be completely renovated, made more handicap accessible, and we wanted a more contemporary style. The footprint of the site was small, the house itself had been built in pieces over time, with very irregular floorplan, and several tricky sets of stairs. To get the house all on 1 level, half was completely demolished and rebuilt, the other half was stripped inside and out, decapitated, and completely renovated with new roof design, layout. Peter worked meticulously with us to achieve a big house feel in a small house ( 1300 sq feet), including designing nooks in the walls to accomodate specific pieces of furniture. He was creative and also open to different ideas. He readily balanced issues of budget, aesthetics, practicality, and green design. He was organized, worked very well with our builder, was flexible in adjusting the design when needed, and very accurate in his cost estimates.
