Asia was born in Riga Latvia. When she was 14 her family migrated to Israel. Following her fathers dream to settle in Jerusalem, Asia became a part of this amazing city. During her high school years she studied art and started to paint. From this point Art became a very important part of Asia’s life and the breathtaking Jerusalem Hills greatly inspired her first paintings. In her 30’s Asia was accepted to Shankar, the Israeli design schools with highest designation located in Tel Aviv. However she decided to devote herself to her newborn son and her family instead. A busy life being working mother of 3 kids which not always made it easy to find the space for her art work. The change came couple of years ago, when Asia relocated to Canada following her husbands work. She started to take art classes again and devoting herself to her development as an Artist. Since 2015 Asia is a full- time artist. She works from her home-based art studio in Maple, Canada. Natural world is Asia's main inspiration. The creation of her works is an exiting process. Incorporation of different materials like acrylic, ink and paper allows her to create a variety of layers and textures and to express her perception of the natural world.
