Ayasha Loya Fine Arts

The world I am painting has been silenced and unseen, yet I can feel it. I spend my days painting and my nights creating through vivid dreams. There are those out Ayasha Loyathere of many cultures who have felt misunderstood or forbidden from being seen or heard. Through color, form, and light I communicate the suppressed cultures to rise up and be discovered again through art. I am a Fine Artist living in Visalia, California. This is why I paint. I paint because I have a fascination for teaching the world of cultures. Painting gives me enormous pleasure being the voice for a culture that once may have been silenced. As a young Chippewa, I grew up close by grandmothers side who I watched and learned many painting techniques through keen observation. From my younger years, I knew I needed to develop creative skills and obtain an education to be an artist. In October 2014, I received a Certification from Derwent Academy of Art for completing art lessons. I furthered my education by attending Caldwell University the then University of Phoenix where I obtained a lot of credits. In January 2016, I was pleased to be excepted to attend the Academy of Art University out of San Francisco. I mainly specialize in oils, watercolors, charcoal, and clay. I tend to concentrate on areas such as portraits, animal or objects.
