Campbell Tileworks

We were very excited to work with John to retile our fireplace, circa 1910. Ordered samples of the tiles and absolutely loved them and ordered the same day we received the samples. We were told that the turn around would be 8-10 weeks, and we were okay with that. 10 weeks came and I inquired to see where the process was as we hadn’t heard from him. At that time he said he could have our order finished in 10 days time. Okay. I reached back out after that 10 days time to again, see where he was in the process of our order. He then says that he can probably begin shipping our tiles in “about” two weeks.. I responded asking for certainty of a two weeks completion date and stated that if we couldn’t get certainty from him regarding our order that we would like to request a refund at ann8-10 week turn around just turned in to a 14 to “maybe” 16 week turnaround.. At that point, I replied that I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and the shipping date continuously being pushed out weeks at a time. We did not want to, but made the decision to cancel our order due to our deadlines and timeframes needed to schedule tradesmen to finish the job. John, if you read these, please know your tiles are phenomenal and it broke my heart to cancel our order, but your lack of initiating communication and the non-existant timeframe was just too much. If you aren’t under the pressure of deadlines, definitely consider ordering from John. His tiles are beautiful and of incredible quality. If on the other hand you are under deadline pressures, consider that heavily before ordering.

I've ordered several tile samples to determine which tile color will work best. The colors are absolutely gorgeous! These pictures do not do the tiles justice. I picked out the best color and placed an order for my tile surround. So excited to see my finished project! Thanks!
