About Us

Lauren Preller is a Baltimore photographer and digital artist. Preller's Art Map project is based on local neighborhood maps. Her digital artwork designs are based on her photographs of local colors and textures she has created. These colors and textures are used as her palette, Think oil paint pallet replace by photographic colors and textures integrated into the map image. Richard Bing describes her digital art best in the following quote: "Her pieces do everything artwork should do for architectural spaces: reinforce the spacial character of the space and provide visual interest with relevant images without merely being decorative.
