About Us
Malena Marie is a contemporary realism artist specializing in multi-media paintings of people and animals. Although her pieces resemble photos from afar, they exceed the capabilities of photography up close. Each painting is riddled with layers of chaotic dry brush ‘scratches’ to create imperfect surface texture and depth, all juxtaposed by blended brush strokes in the background.
