Nicolle Cure Contemporary Art

Nicolle Cure, a contemporary artist living in the cosmopolitan city of Miami has been in touch with her truest passion from a very young age. Her art has been showcased in the U.S, Colombia, South Korea and China. Her vast experience with several mediums such as charcoals, oils, pastels and watercolors, and her forte, the art of acrylic on canvas, wood and paper has allowed her to conceive many beautiful pieces. Her art is an unusual mixture of the abstract and the surreal, the light and shadows; accentuating feminine silhouettes and body parts such as eyes. Each canvas is a place, a reason, and an escape to a state of mind where she liberates her emotions and thoughts. Cure emphasizes the importance of giving back to the community which is why she has donated art pieces to benefit great causes such as the research for the cure of cancer, diabetes among other illnesses and also collaborates with public education entities and animal rights organizations. To escape what she considers the monotonous lifestyle that people can fall into, she paints to bring out a state of mind that makes her relaxed, incredibly happy and creates the ability to appreciate life and connect with others in a different way. Besides being a visual artist, Nicolle holds a Bachelors degree in Advertising from the University of Florida. Other personal interests include outdoor sports, family, and her special love for dogs.
