Alain worked on developing plans for a large home remodeling & addition project for us. From the beginning, it was clear that he was not only passionate and hard working, but also an extremely accomplished and skilled architect. Alain created a detailed architectural design for our house remodel project this past spring. He creatively took our ideas and incorporated them into the plan, and provided detailed sketches and renderings. Alain was always punctual and spent a great deal of time and energy with us. The scope of the project involved expanding our family room out to where the garage currently is, add a 3 car garage, mudroom, add back stairs, expand the kitchen within the existing footprint. Upstairs: add one bedroom, rebuild one bedroom that would be compromised for access, and add two baths. We were really excited about the project and were planning to take the leap with the addition except the construction firm prices greatly exceeded the budget we communicated. We liked the plan very much, and while Alain had ideas about how we could scale back the project, we weren't willing to compromise. Our only complaint is that we were repeatedly told the budget would work, when in the end, the estimate was so much higher. If we were in a different part of the country, we could build a large, and entirely new house with our budget!

I have worked with Alain on number of projects and always had very good experience. He is very creative and comes up with great ideas. I plan to work with Alain again in the future.
