Johnsa and wife Lillian Dean Johnsa, Suwanee Lumber Company began manufacturing oak flooring, stair treads, landing nose, and door sills. Gradually, the company’s focus shifted to providing cabinet makers and the general public with hardwood and pine lumber, plywood, shelving, and molding.
