I have built our Tanzite deck and it is easy to build. I like the texture and look of the boards. However, if you don’t know how to build a strong, sturdy, and even joist structure then you should stick with plastic. It is stone, what do you expect, it’s hard! If you drop sledgehammers on your deck or build decks that move around, stick with plastic.

We replaced our cedar deck with a Tanzite deck last summer. We installed it ourselves. We had some scratches from our dogs, but they easily came off, unlike composite decking where scratches are permanent. It doesn't get too hot even during our hot summers. Overall, we love our deck it looks great!

We purchased Tanzite Stonedecks last spring and installed them last month. The installation process was relatively straightforward. We encountered a minor issue with our joists not being even, but we quickly resolved it by levelling them. After that, the installation went smoothly. All in all, we're happy with our new deck.
