I have no idea why Houzz is calling my project "Exposed Joists," because Avanti built bookcases for me, but oh, well. Review below: I had a terrific experience with Avanti Woodworks. I had a large library space that I wanted custom built-in bookcases for, and John at Avanti worked closely with me through the entire process of design, wood and finish selection, construction, finishing, and installation. John's expertise was invaluable, and he was patient, thoughtful, and creative in answering all of my questions and making sure everything was right. I learned a ton, and am very happy that I went with Avanti. And the bookcases turned out better than I ever could have hoped.

We have a nearly 150 year old town house in the Dupont Circle area and needed cabinets in the basement for storage. Avanti came in, did a detailed drawing, provided a very competitive estimate and, most importantly, went right to work doing a truly top notch job. Avanti was prompt, very efficient and our cabinets look super! Terrific experience all around...very historic minded and quality conscious...a delightful experience.
