Jim Durfee did an excellent job on my cabinets. They are beautiful cherry wood with clear finish in shaker-style. (See picture) They are well constructed with plywood inside instead of particle board. He also added custom touches, such as corner lazy-suzy and roll-out trash bin. Jim even made a custom spice rack to fit under a non-standard window. The price was very reasonable too...better than home depot or Lowes with much better quality and customization.

Durfee Custom Cabinets built our Kitchen cabinets as well as the custom cabinets in both of our bathrooms. We were very pleased with the quality and workmanship used by Durfee in building our beautiful wormy maple (ambrosia maple) kitchen cabinets. We receive compliments from everyone who enters our home. Jim is great to communicate with and his work is completed in a timely manner. Although this is our seasonal home and we are not available everyday. Jim worked around our schedule. I would reuse Durfee Custom Cabinets and I highly recommend Jim to anyone looking for cabinet work... You will not be disappointed.

Jim Durfee was outstanding ! From the quote to the completion and all in between! Durfee Custom Cabinets designed and built the cabinets for our new house. The project included cabinets for the kitchen, laundry room, and three bathrooms. The cabinetry was built from scratch with rustic cherry. The cabinets are 100 percent wood, with no particle board. The workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding, as was the price. Jim (the owner) and Randy (the finish guy) were professional, courteous, and highly skilled in their trade. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone seeking to have custom cabinetry that looks really unique, at a really great price.
