Ordered 5 shelves: 3 were great, as advertised, and 2 were defective. The first photo is what was advertised on their web page. And the other two photos are what I actually received from them. One can easily see the defects in the wood: these boards should not have been selected for shelving in the first place. This simply amounts to sloppy inconsistent work in selecting the material. Customer service stated that these defects were normal. This simply amounts to poor customer service. It seems the craftsmanship quality is hit and miss, so for the fairly expensive price tag, I recommend shopping elsewhere.

Josh and company were great to work with throughout the entire process from concept discussion through material and stain selection and delivery. I am thrilled with how the table turned out and the attention paid to the small details really stands out.

Josh at J Thomas Home custom built a gorgeous mid century modern styled dining table to fit our space. Josh was a delight to work with at every stage of the process from design, wood and stain selection to delivery. Our solid maple table is beautiful, functional (I wanted a “worry free” and easy to maintain finish) and sturdy and was also reasonably priced when compared to similar quality “non custom” furniture. A rare 5 star company that I’m eager to recommend and use again.

Pergola and Couch

J Thomas Home was excellent to work with. They built a custom couch for our basement and built an outdoor pergola for us. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
