Working with Jonathon Dahl Woodworks and his team of carpenters was an enjoyable journey. Jonathon personally came to project site and listen to our ideas and contributed to making our dream come true. Our kitchen is one of our highest used focal point, and the details to his craftmanship surly show's. He gave us the "wow" timeless look we wanted. We had added and changed some of our original ideas as we came across new exciting features, Jonathon was able to adjust and incorporate them all without objection. They are truly, one of a kind woodworker and we will defiantly be calling on them again for my next project.

When I decided to remodel my master bathroom and nothing in the market really matched the specs needed for the vanity, I knew I wanted to use Jonathon since I had been following him on IG for years. It was finally my chance to have a custom Jonathon build! I contacted him and within a week I visited his shop and started the process with an inspiration photo. I am so happy I chose to work with him because this build was atypical. The attention to detail is impeccable. The spacing between joins is so precise. I can see that they take great pride in the work they do which is so refreshing. My vanity is a piece of art! I also added on a few cabinets that matched my vanity and it really pulls the whole bathroom together. Everyday when I walk into my master I fall in love with my vanity all over again. I hope to work with Jonathon again in the future.

Jonathon has done several projects for us, from custom furniture, custom cabinets, to a wine room. He is an outstanding craftsman, an excellent designer, and a really great guy to work with. I have used him for both painted cabinetry and custom stain and finish work on fine furniture. While he is good at it all, he really knows his woods and compatible finishes and can display the beauty of the grain and the quality of the wood better than anyone I have ever worked with. His furniture is really a piece of art.

My wife and I just finished a master bathroom remodel. We used Jonathan Dahl Woodworks for the Vanity on this project and he made our vision into reality. This is our second project (the first being our kitchen) working with Jonathan Dahl Woodworks. He and his team did an outstanding job on both projects. There was detail and craftsmanship required in building our Vanity to make it look like a furniture piece. We could not have hoped for better results. Jonathan is always a pleasure to work with. He offers a collaborative approach and listens to his clients to ensure he delivers exactly what is expected. JDW rates are very competitive and fairly priced for custom built cabinets. We never considered using anyone else for this portion of our bath project and we would not hesitate for a moment to use him again.

If you are on the search for a cabinet builder for your kitchen or bath all I can say is “Look NO further” than Jonathan Dahl Woodworks! After Harvey I was blessed to have been able to interview he and his associate Marcus about all of my cabinetry that was damaged. This included all of my bathrooms and my kitchen. I have been a contractor myself for 20 years so I knew the kind of working relationship I was looking for…..especially since I was about to tackle my kitchen and do a full remodel. Jonathan, his staff, his shop personnel and on-site installers not only met, but FAR exceeded my expectations. 1. Jonathan collaborated with me over a number of months, through a number of modifications and changes, selections, etc. 2.Jonathan never rushed me to make a decision. 3.Jonathan was very patient with me and all of the ideas that I had. 4.Jonathan was ready with solutions to special things I wanted to do, like hide plugs and switches. 5.Jonathan was absolute perfection with his measurements which was extremely important since I was doing a frameless, modern kitchen with totally integrated appliances. Once all the selections were made and the drawings were signed off on, construction was finished and installation began, it was a very methodical process. Not rushed. I can’t begin in this review to detail every step that Jonathan took but suffice it to say that every part of the process was the highest quality and workmanship and his on-site installation personnel were super respectful, clean, nice and fun to have around. Everyone that works for Jonathan are problem solvers and I really appreciated that. At the end when everything thing was completed all I kept saying was “Absolute perfection”……literally there is not one thing I would do different. It is exactly as I had it pictured in my mind’s eye. Again, if you are looking to do anything…..kitchen, bath, entertainment center, etc. give JDW a chance. You will not be sorry! Thanks Jonathan....I love, love, love my kitchen!

When you need a custom wood project, Jon Dahl is the best. He uses beautiful wood and has great eye for detail. I hired him to make custom sliding barn doors and can't be any happier with how they turned out. During install they took time to protect my floors and cleaned up afterwards. Highly professional. Just take a look at his custom cabinetry work- incredible!

There was great detail and craftsmenship used to building our cabinets to make them look like furniture pieces. We could not have hoped for better craftsmanship. As I sit in my newly remodeled home at Christmas time, I am reminded how fortunate we really are. Like many others in 2017, our home was flooded by Hurricane Harvey. Jonathan Dahl works made the most incredible wood coffee and kitchen table for our home. Everyone wants to know where we purchased the one of a kind pieces of art. I have ordered and received several of Jon's handcrafted pecan cutting boards. The quality and craftsmanship is exceptional. Of greater importance however, was the professional manner in which I was treated as a customer. While my order may not have been large, I felt I was being treated with the same level of courtesy as someone doing a full custom kitchen remodel! after making appointment, somebody came to my house. took them near one months to give me an estimate !!!! I had multiple estimate before and all of those estimates were clear e.g; they mention type of wood they will use in my cabinets or how many square feet is the total job? this estimate was 8 pages long, not about estimate but about how i pay ?!!! the estimate part was 4 line only and was one the most expensive estimate i have ever had. i already finished my project and i am happy with the result ,it is past more than one year!!!!

Envision Design Build is a custom builder in Houston and we have started using Jonathon to build our cabinets. We have been very impressed with the quality and pricing. Jonathon designed and implemented a turn-key kitchen remodel that required structural alterations, electrical, and foundation work. His design was flawlessly executed and we are very pleased with his work. He's also done extensive work throughout our home including a wrought iron staircase, media center, fireplace surround, and an extensive renovation of our Master Bath. We've used Jonathon Dahl Woodworks for several years and on numerous occasions. They've made everything from a custom table with hidden storage, to bathroom vanities, to beautiful hardwood crown moulding, and a little bit of everything in between. Being a master craftsman, Jonathon himself seems to enjoy the challenge of unique, custom items. He has always been able to take my ideas (and sometimes sloppy, back of the envelope, sketches) and materialize them into recognizable plans and drawings and ultimately into functional and beautiful furniture. JDW's lead time has, on occasion, been a bit long, but we've always found their finished product to be well worth the wait! We highly recommend Jonathon Dahl and plan to use their services again in the future.
