At Griggs Carpet, Inc., business really is a family affair. Owner Kenneth Griggs opened the doors in 1963, and over the next five decades many members of the Griggs family have worked in the family business, including Kenneth’s two brothers and a sister, his two sons, and a grandson and granddaughter. And staff members John and Wayne have been with Griggs so long – John since 1966 and Wayne for 25 years – that they’ve become just like family! “My dad always says ‘treat others the way you want to be treated,’ and that’s how we have always done business,” says Kenny Griggs. “We’re very family-oriented here and enjoy working with the same people year after year. We have a lot of repeat customers who say that they appreciate the level of personal service we provide and the relationships that we’ve developed with them.”
