I worked with RMG briefly before realizing the work to be done needed to be managed by another company. RMG facilitated this process.

RMG stone products is fantastic. Mary was so helpful she had a wonderful understanding of what I was looking for and found the perfect piece for my kitchen. Not only was she helpful she was so knowledgeable. I had originally gone to a kitchen design store to purchase my countertop and I'm so glad I found RMG Mary knew so much more about soapstone then anyone else I had spoken to. The gentlemen who fabricated and installed the counter were wonderful as well. They took so much care in what they did. Wonderful attention to detail. I would recommend anyone considering purchasing soapstone call RMG you won't be sorry.

After considering several other options in the area, I am so glad that I went with RMG Products for my soapstone countertops. Mary in sales was terrific -- extremely professional, and ensured that the project adhered to time and budget expectations. She was great at guiding a stone neophyte like me through the "process," and was more than patient as I went back and forth between several pieces of stone in their very large yard (definitely something there for everyone, and then some). Those involved in templating and fabricating the stone definitely know what they are doing. Bill and BJ handled my project, and they were great. In addition to ordering countertops I ordered a soapstone sink, and requested to have one of the stone's veins on the face. When I picked the sink up, the fabricator had also put the vein on the interior back wall of the sink. As a result, the sink way exceeded my expectations. It's little details like this that show they really take pride in what they do. The fabricator definitely has a designer's eye. The veining on the countertops was laid out in a way that was very beautiful and harmonious. Awesome job! Highly recommend!

RMG Stone provided us a quality product that has more than met our expectations. Having decided to do a complete kitchen redo which included slate counter tops, timing of product delivery was critical to us. Once we were ready to template , RMG representatives arrived at the scheduled date and time and the slate was installed in a timely manner once we had approved the slab. The entire process was exactly as explained during our initial negations. Priced exactly as quoted.

The entire experience was great. We traveled to RMG Stone last winter. The tour of the stone yards convinced us that we would order our soap stone from RMG. Mary was terrific explaining all the details involved. When it was time to pick out the slabs of stone to be used Mary sent pictures because we could not travel up to Vermont again. I chose the stone from the pictures and it is perfect. I love the look in the kitchen with my rustic cherry cabinets. The templating and installation were completed as promised. We are very happy with the entire process and would recommend RMG stone to all. There is something about soap stone that makes you want to feel it. Everyone who comes into our house touches the stone.

We love our soapstone countertops! We agonized over the countertop choice. We knew we didn't like the super shiny granite look. I worried about the chemical off-gassing of solid surface counters and laminate counters. We have a bird and I heard that the chemicals could be harmful to him. After seeing displays of soapstone at several homeshows, we decided to look into them more seriously. We love the look and feel of the soapstone. We visited Vermont Soapstone showroom and spent almost an entire day with Mary from the office. We decided to purchase soapstone. We visited the field where many huge slabs were stored and selected the exact stone we have in our kitchen today. The workman spent several hours at our home measuring and prep-ing us for the instillation of the counter. On delivery day, they worked hours to make sure all seams were joined professionally and nearly invisibly. So glad we took the plung! Well worth the cost!

Mary led me through a recent counter top and sink replacement from start to finish. I did not really understand that I was essentially acting as my own project manager so, needless to say, I needed A LOT of guidance. Mary consistently returned my emails and phone calls in a timely manner. She patiently walked me through each step required, e.g., visiting their yard to pick out stone, doing accurate measurements at home, determining the right size sink, scheduling her people to come measure for template and final installation. The finances required were clearly laid out, documented and true to contact in the end. I had a lot of questions. Mary consistently treated our every contact with respect, provided accurate answers and offered her opinion when I asked for it. Best of all, I am thrilled with the finished product!
