Closets by Design of Long Island

Horrible management and customer service . They have sat on my materials and order for over 4 weeks now and refuse to call and work out a final install date . This is In spite of taking payment 90 percent of the cost of a 18 K order. They installed a few components back in November which are not in working condition without the other Components . But now they have all my money and can’t even be bothered to call back in spite of my calls to them every few days since mid December .

From the initial onset where we met Robin, she had taken the time to review our specific needs and come up with a design, not only for our closet, but for our garage as well. When the installers came to do our closet they were extremely organized and detail oriented as their sales person Robin. We can’t thank, closets by design of Long Island, enough for that phenomenal job they had completed for us! We highly recommend, Robin and her team, as they are detail oriented, able to review your needs and provide you with solutions that will exceed your expectations! What a pleasure to deal with such professionals is it all started with Robin. Thank you thank you thank you! We can hardly wait for our garage to be completed. Robin your professionalism Towers of your competition, you are an extreme asset to your organization!

Good job overall by the company and the installation person. The salesperson Daniel B. was a major turnoff though. Rude and unprofessional. He was all attention till he received his deposit. Never answered his phone or text messages after that. I confronted him about this when HE had to call about come clarification and he claimed that 'he was a busy man' as if we were a couple of idle morons bent upon inconveniencing him. Highly unlikely to recommend this company thanks to this guy. Predictably, immediately after the installation, he started power calling me and leaving phone and text messages starting he wanted to come and see the installation. Of course, we wanted nothing to do with him and ignored his frantic messages...

Excellent experience from start to finish .......! Closets by Design just completed our back bedroom walk in closet , and we could not be any happier with the entire project . Elaine the designer came in with some great ideas , measured , and helped us pick the right color and draw fronts . Their installers were excellent ..! Vic and Nash were professional , and worked very clean . Highly recommend this team , we will be using them again in the future . Thank you ..! Marty and Gloria

I am not sure how this place stays in business. It is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. From the sales person all the way up. I should have known when they called and confirmed the wrong date and time for my appointment that they were a mess. I reschedule and this time the appointment was for a Sunday at 12. The sales person Linda Bunim showed up at a half hour late. I had to wait a week for her to give me the estimate. I had to argue the price and then when we finally agreed she became very high pressure. I signed off on the proposal after agreeing to the price and it was subject to Financing. I told Linda to set the install for Nov 6th and she told me no problem. I applied for the Financing and there was an issue due to an account that was fraudulently opened in my name so it was taking longer than normal to get approved. Linda being super high pressure called me back and told me the date wasn’t available that I wanted and needed a credit card deposit or she couldn’t hold the date. I told her it wasn’t resolved by the end of the day I would give her a deposit via Amex. She then proceeds to tell me they don’t take Amex due to an issue they had a few years ago. That’s a red flag right there when a business can’t accept Amex. I said ok I will pay with a MasterCard. After this waste of time conversation some rude lady from the office called me and said if I didn’t give a credit card deposit now they were not holding the date and didn’t want my business. I proceed to call the owner Matt and left several messages with no call back. I am so happy I didn’t use this company. Now I see why so many people complain. Stay away from this business.

I converted my smallest bedroom into my dream closet. I had a few estimates from other companies but decided to go with Closets by Design. I worked with Elaine who was fabulous. Her design was different from the other estimates and aligned with my original vision. It was about half the price of another company which was a double bonus! Two people came to install everything. They were in and out in under 4 hours. The entire process was painless and the final product far exceeded my expectations!

Closets by Design designed an amazing Master closet for us! The installer was professional, neat and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company highly!

Finally had a custom closet designed for my master bedroom and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Very happy with the quality of Closets by Design. Very professional and helpful, my designer Terry Sicard navigated me through the process with ease and helped me stay on budget. The installation was by the date promised and the installer was also very professional, clean and finished same day. Looking forward to future projects with this company.

Don was our salesman, and he was great. The installation was quick and very professional. I only have a double wide closet with sliding doors and never thought I could have an insert. But, they had do! I have more hanging room and more organization for everything else. I love it!!

Closets by Design in Bohemia designed and installed 2 large master bedroom closets. Elaine was our salesperson, she was fantastic to work with. She created computer images so we could see exactly how the closets would look before we agreed to the design. She met with us a few times before we finalized the designs and she made good suggestions along the way. A couple of weeks later the installer came and was able to complete the job in 1 day. The installer was neat, caring and a perfectionist! He cared that drawers were properly aligned and wiped down everything before he left. The closets look amazing and more importantly, they work perfectly well for what we need. I will definitely use them again for our other closets.

I Highly recommend Closets by Design for all your closet needs they made a stressful move real easy. There professional team took control and put in shelves and rods quick and compleated job in no time. Thank you Closets by Design for making my life so organized with the most beautiful closets! From start to finish, both Colleen and Derek were there to help me design the best suitable closet for my family. They always were so friendly and accommodating no matter what the issue. Colleen even came to my house I was moving from to count all mine and my husbands clothes and shoes to make sure CBD would be able to then create a closet in my new house that would work. This is my second home I've used CBD and I received the same VIP treatment as always! I would recommend them to anyone!!!
