Designer Melita at Closettec

This is the third house which, before we even moved in, we used Closettec to maximize the efficiency of our closets. We choose Closettec because of the people. From the introduction at Jordan's Furniture where Closettec has a store within a store, to the first meeting with Melita at our new condo and finally to the install team led by Joti, every person with whom we interacted was a true pro. Melita was great about giving us ideas and macro concepts as she measured our spaces. After expertly and carefully installing the closet designs, Joti and his crew picked up every bit of scrap and dust left over from the install and left the place spotless. We focus on function vs form when it comes to our closets, so we use Closettec's basic shelving and materials but it still looks great and we triple our closet space every time we use Closettec.

Melita did a tremendous job designing our closets. She listened to our needs and was able to deliver a package to meet our budget. The technology that closettec uses to draft and display the final look was far ahead of anything we saw from competitors.

I could not have asked for a better experience with a designer in helping me redo my closet. I moved into a new construction condo in September, and with my fiance moving in within the next couple of months, the basic wire closet that the builder installed was not going to be enough. I met Melita on a random Sunday at the Closettec store at Jordan's Furniture, and just on sending her a few basic measurements and photos she put together an entire design and 3D rendering for free within hours. She came to the condo when it was finished and I was moved in, and recommended certain changes and finishes, things I wouldn't have thought of. Without seeing exactly some of the finishes she recommended, I trusted her, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. The closet looks great and is extremely practical and was within budget. The installer also did an amazing job, and customer service and scheduling at Closettec were also on point. This being my first place I bought and being 26, I look forward to always using Melita in the future whenever I move or need more work done to increase storage!

Me and my wife bought a new home a few years and the primary bedroom has a nice sized (7.5 x 8ft) walk-in closet. Unfortunately it had bad wire shelves that were falling apart. We really wanted to have a nice closet installed, but have never had anything like that done before. We looked up and contacted a bunch of places online and then we came across Closettec. We live in Reading, Ma and Closettec happens to have a fairly large showroom on the first floor of Jordan's right in town. The first step of the process was to have one of their closet designers, Melita, come to our house (after standard work hours on request) to take measurements and talk to us about options. She was incredibly friendly and clearly knew what she was doing. The next step was meet with her at the showroom in Jordan's and for her to walk us through her initial design and for us to pick out material and other features (handles, belt rack, tie rack, etc.). The showroom is very impressive and they have a ton of options to choose from. Once we picked out all of the materials, Melita sent us a 2D and 3D rendering of the closet. This was very helpful to visualize the design. We had to go back and forth about 4 or 5 times on minor changes and Melita would always respond quickly. She would follow up her response with an update to the design in the less than a day (actually much quicker than that most of the time). We have weirdly placed attic access in ceiling the closet and Melita came up a great idea to shoe rack on wheels that we could pull away for easier access. I cannot say enough good things about working with her. After about a week of going back and forth, we finally locked down a design and scheduled our installation. The soonest they could do it was about 1.5 months out, but I believe this is pretty standard with material shortages these days. Plus they cut everything custom before it is delivered When they scheduled us for the installation, it was initially scheduled for 2 days. This time included removal of the old closet materials and installation of the new closet. I believe they also add time in case they have to re-cut anything on site. The two installers showed up right on time and started the tear down process immediately. They took about 45-60 minutes and then they started bringing in all of the new pre-cut materials for the closet. Melita must of done a fantastic job measuring (she measured every wall like 3-4 times just to be sure), because they were able to install the new closet in less than a day (6-7 hours). I don't know about you, but I would much rather have a 2-day install take less than a day than the other way around. The actual installation was also fantastic and didn't feel rushed. The two installers were very professional and answered all of my annoying questions without batting an eye. The closet looks amazing and it's just a much better overall use of that space. Overall, the process from beginning to end was excellent and Melita was great!

Melita was unbelievably helpful with the installation of a custom closet and desk in my sons room. She provided options and advice on both functional and design aspects that led us to a room that we now want to kick our son out of so that we can have it. Melita was meticulous in ensuring that every detail of the final product matched our expectations perfectly.

Melita did an excellent job analyzing and preparing a plan that worked for us. She was extremely detailed orientated and communicated with us during the entire project. She made this project an easy choice. Would definitely use her and the Closettec team again!

Hope all is well. Melita from Closettec did a outstanding job on our mudroom, shelving and bench area. I have built out many developments and hundreds of homes over the past 40 years. It is a breath of fresh air to work with someone so knowledgeable. Melita's ideas were great and her measurements were precise. The installer was neat and did quality work. The project was finished on time and with no change orders. Looking forward to working with Melita and Closettec in the future

Melita was very professional- She understood me and my wife”s vision of our Master closet in our new addition. We couldn’t have been more satisfied. After so many hiccups in our attic renovation this was the one thing that went exactly as planned and came out better then we imagined. I am very pleased with my closet. The space is slightly awkward and you were able to make the best use of the space as possible. We have two more closets in the condo that we'll have done at some time this year! I highly recommend this. My closet is so beautiful I'm not sure I'm going to cover it with doors.
