Ronnie Gor, founder and principal of Amorphous Studio, has been educated and trained in the field of design and construction. She has been practicing residential design for almost 20 years. Her design aesthetics are heavily influenced by her extensive travels in North America, Europe and Asia. She began her career working on large institutional and commercial projects such as schools, dormitories and restaurants as part of a design team. However, she craved a more holistic experience with her clients, wanting to see a project through in every detail, from start to finish. Amorphous is a design-build studio — offering design as well as general contracting services. Ronnie shifted her focus to residential design, working with a top modernist architect in Connecticut. She moved to California in 2006 and began transforming dated properties into beautiful modern homes. She is a LEED-certified professional of USGBC, which has helped her develop a respect for nature and commitment to using sustainable practices in her work. Today, Ronnie is actively engaged in her community as she serves as the CFO for Association for Women in Architecture + Design, and as a Board Director for AIA San Fernando Valley. On top of her extensive education and experience in home design and construction, she is also an insured and bonded Licensed General Contractor B with CSLB. She frequently participates in conferences and events that celebrate diversity, women in architecture and design, and sustainability.
