You get what you pay for… We started finishing our basement with a different general contracting company in fall of 2020—yes, during COVID! The project finally came to completion in late spring, which was months after the job was set to be done, after many delays, excuses, and supply chain troubles. The team that worked on the basement got the job done at a pretty low price, but the final product was nothing to write home about. A few years later, there are several things we wish we had known and required of the GC on the project. We regret having paid even what we did for some of their work. Fast forward to our remodel working with Bunn and Sons in summer 2022. The job started when they said it would start after a period of careful planning alongside their designer. It came to completion within a few days of when they said it would be done. The work, which included refinished floors, all-new banisters, a completely overhauled kitchen, and several other smaller components, is done well. Their carpentry team and subs are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and timely. They use a great app for scheduling and communication that makes the process fairly seamless. Our home was well-cared for in our 10+ week absence. As we’ve lived in the space since the project was completed and had an occasional glitch pop up, the Bunn and Sons team has been quick to respond and resolve any problems. We spent quite a bit more on this project, but the service has been exceptional. We also feel good knowing that we paid skilled workers a living wage for quality labor. We would not hesitate to recommend Bunn and Sons for your next home project!

Tom and his crew are amazing people, and they do amazing work. They did a full kitchen and main-floor remodel for us last year, and it was a great experience. It was our first time doing something like this, and they made us super comfortable with the process. They helped us all the way through the design, choosing appliances, honing our budget, and through every step and decision in the build out. The results are gorgeous and it came in right on budget. They and all their subs were super professional, and they were great communicators on everything. They made us feel like family. I 100% recommend them!

Very high quality work and very easy to work with company. The project was a remodel and, as is very common with remodels, the scope changes during the project. Very adaptable to the situation as the project scope changed and able to do the additional work that came up. Also, very good at working with us to manage costs, particularly with materials options while still maintaining the high quality that we needed. Remodel projects often require ingenuity and Tom and his crew did a very nice job creating workable solutions when non-standard work was needed. Great to work with around families because very polite and considerate all the time.

Tom worked at our home to create built-in closet shelves for one of our bedrooms. I wanted them to look the same as the other shelves in our home and he did them perfectly. I was so happy with his work that I hired him to do a few more projects. I would highly recommend Tom for any home projects you need.

We had to either renovate or move. But with the kids' school around the corner, a renovation was the best choice. We found Tom through a mutual friend. Tom worked with our architect, the electrician familiar with the house and the egress window company we selected. The results are stunning (when the kids actually pick up their stuff). He turned a drab, barely-functional space into a haven for three growing girls, complete with Jack-and-Jill closet and massive bathroom.
