I thought the small puddle in the basement was coming through the basement walls and in an unfinished basement it didn’t pose much of a problem. But one day, while in the basement, I got a drip on my head. Pulling back the insulation I discovered the floor joists above were rotting. I discovered that the shower had been leaking since I bought my house six years ago. I needed a company that could do more than slap some plastic over the old shower. I spoke to several companies and decided to go with D’Fine & Design. From the start they were professional, customer friendly, and easy to work with. We had a very hard deadline for completion of the work, but they weren’t deterred. Tanya, the designer, spent a lot of time working with us. She showed us countless samples in many combinations, She listened to our preferences and concerns and offered guidance when we were stuck between options. She was extremely patient as we went through so many options to select the colors, designs, and materials that we would be happy with for many years Matt, the project manager, looked at the situation in the basement went through all of the things that needed to be addressed and how the repairs would be made. We would need a complete bathroom rebuild due to the amount of water damage. There are glass block in the outer wall of the shower that we wanted to retain and they weren’t affected by the water damage, so they stayed. After a complete assessment of what needed to be done, and what we wanted in the finished product, they gave us a very competitive estimate that was within my expectations. The work crew showed up and went straight to work. During the demolition of the old bathroom they discovered black mold in the walls of the shower. They didn’t bat an eye. They removed the mold and treated the affected areas. Because of our deadline they worked weekends and late evenings to finish on time. When they were done there were a few minor things that we wanted addressed. They were addressed to our satisfaction in a very timely manner. Overall we are very satisfied with every facet of this bathroom remodel. I told my granddaughter that the new bathroom is now the best room in the whole house. I’m going to have to put a TV in there.

D’Fine did a great job on my kitchen. As an engineer, my expectations are high and D’Fine exceeded all my expectations. My kitchen was completed on time and within budget. All of the contractors that came into my home to work were very respectful, clean, and showed up on time. We ran into a couple of challenges; however, they quickly identified the issue, brought it to my attention, and collaborated with me to resolve the issue before it became a problem.
