This is the second time that I've used Intrabuild, and this is the second time that I'm giving them 5 stars. First, I'd 100% use Nick and his team again - and I would 100% recommend them to friends and family. Details on this project: for my second experience with Intrabuild they gut renovated a typical NYC bathroom in an apartment that I own and will be renting out soon. Demo to studs, new plumbing throughout, new floor, walls, tub/shower, fixtures, lighting, etc. Just like with the first reno that they did for me (a gut kitchen renovation in my primary home) they came out on budget and we got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. The only slowdown was my Management Company's delay in getting the paperwork approved, and even there Nick and his team calmly, but in a direct and clear manner, encouraged my Management Company to move along more quickly. This ability to interact so well with other stakeholders is important for me because some of these other stakeholders (e.g., building management, supers, building's architect) don't care about my time, my stress levels, or my budget - but Nick and his team DO! All in, Intrabuild has provided me VALUE two times now, and both times I feel like every penny was worth it!

Scope of work: a complete renovation of a 680 sq feet 1 bedroom apartment in a coop building from the 1950s in Manhattan New York. New kitchen (custom cabinets), new bathroom, new floor, electrical rewiring, skim coating of walls and new appliances. When we emailed Nick he called us back the same day. I really did not look forward to this. After three renovations, I knew the difficulty ahead in terms of delays, cost overruns etc. Boy was I wrong. From the minute we got on a zoom call with Nick this journey has been amazingly easy with no surprises and no delays. It has been fun from start to finish working with Nick and his very professional team. On the zoom call I told Nick that we did not have an architect and we did not know what to do except that we wanted to maximize closet space. Nick said do not worry about the architecture, we have that in-house but let me give you a few suggestions. He asked about our budget. He used a red sharpie on our floor plan during our zoom call. In 15 minutes, he was finished, and we looked at a new floor plan which had turned the dark very small kitchen into an open and much larger and brighter kitchen by removing walls and adding an island into the living room, new closets, including a walk-in closet, amazing bath room design, a countertop below our large picture window in the living room which could serve as a desk for two with computers. He said he could start six weeks later. Price would be guaranteed, and the job would be finished within three months. We then met with Nick on a Saturday morning in his office and selected all materials and appliances. Done! We got a little bit excited when selecting material. Nick tried to hold us to our budget. He did not try to upsell. I had to insist that we by now wanted custom cabinets in the kitchen and that we would be happy with a change order and price increase. We moved out and then back after three months to an amazing apartment that looked brand new. Bravo!

We would like to extend our gratitude to Nick and the entire Intrabuild Team. They have done a fantastic job in our apartment and we’d like to give a detailed review of our experience. My wife and I interviewed 7 different contractors. 5 of the 7 contractors did a home visit (including Sweeten and Block Renovations). 5 contractors gave us an estimate. Nick stood out the best. His Pricing is competitively similar compared to others. He has a website and I encourage you to navigate on it and read also some of the other reviews for due diligence (Google Reviews and Houzz). The work included demolishing a wall between our living room and kitchen to create an open kitchen layout, demolish and install all kitchen cabinetry including a waterfall island, backsplash, shelves, refinishing all floors in the apt, paint all walls, paint a Murphy bed, replace all electrical around the apt, installation of flat screen TV, installation of a chandelier, scones in bedroom and living room, ceiling lights etc etc. He did all these in a record time of 5 weeks from break ground. My wife and I are shareholders at a Coop. Nick and his staff handled everything - from application to the City (DOB) and the Board in our building. Nick is detail oriented and is at the top of everything. We had to get an Architect and pull out permits but Nick assisted with all this expeditiously. Pls do know that board application and DOB application can take time so this will depend on the city and your building if you are renovating a Coop unit My wife and I worked closely with Nick's team. We want to emphasize our appreciation to Pedro. What a guy! This is the guy u want to work on your apartment. He just knows everything. Very, very talented and a hard worker. I think he has been with Nick for over 10 years. We also met Mauricio, Alejandro and Elias, all 3 also very good at what they do. Thank you to John (Project Manager) for being very responsive to our messages and Mr. Achilles for helping us with our cabinet orders. The quality of work they did is impeccable. The attention to detail is incredible. There is no project big or small to Nick. I would suggest to speak to him for a consultation. Construction project is often, if not always, overwhelming and confusing. Nick helped to navigate through it, starting with advice on materials, appliances, finishes, etc. that fit our setting, style and budget. He is very attentive to details. The crew is very skilled and has a great craftsmanship.

Two words: EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!! Nick and his team were fantastic (especially our site manager Carlos and our project manager John - GREAT JOB guys!!). Very professional, on time, clean, and knowledgeable. Scope of work was a gut kitchen renovation in a 1932 Co-Op. Plumbing was moved/replaced back to risers, floors replaced, new electrical throughout, new counters, and custom cabinets were installed. Nick's response and coordination with the building staff was quick and comprehensive throughout the project - and he and his team even went to bat for us by diplomatically correcting our Super when he suggested that unnecessary plumbing work be completed. Nick's team calmly and professionally explained to our Super that a better solution was available. For the few minor issues that did arise (one piece of the counter top required a recut, and we needed to wrestled with our cabinets a bit) the Intrabuild team immediately worked to reconcile the variances and ensure that we were happy. No excuses, no debates - they simply addressed the issue and made immediate corrections to ensure our satisfaction.

We can’t say enough about our our experience renovating one bathroom with IntraBuild. The product and the process were superb. To execute the project, Nick put together the most professional and competent team. Andreas our project manager, was wonderful to work with, he is knowledgeable about all aspects of the work, diligent, dynamic, creative, and most interactive in his daily communication with us. He oversaw the daily work of the crew and ensured they had what they need to ensure quality work, the project moved flawlessly and magically on time from one phase to the other, the demolition and framing, the plumbing, electricity, tiling, painting , etc,,, every one involved in the project was a master of his trade and they were a happy crew, they came to work with a smile on their face and left with the same smile no matter how hard was their day. They were treated with respect and well appreciated by IntraBuild managers. Our condo management and our neighbors were very complimentary of IntraBuild work. The crew did not only protect our apartment from any damage but they also took care of the common areas and on a daily basis cleaned so well leaving no trace of dust or debris. We slept well at night knowing that we are on good hands. Nick checked with us every Saturday to make sure we are satisfied and the work is well and timely executed. Can’t wait for our next project with IntaBuild!

I cannot recommend Nick and Intrabuild enough. Throughout our renovation, Nick was at all times hardworking, responsible, responsive, creative, caring, efficient and fair -- and that doesn't even cover the skill and craftsmanship he and his employees and subcontractors brought to the job. Intrabuild completed a gut renovation of our 5-story (including basement) Park Slope brownstone in about 10 months. We needed to move out of the apartment we were renting and into our house on August 31 -- and that's exactly what we did. Nick was excellent at preemptively identifying supply chain issues and whenever a supply chain problem arose, he was quick to suggest appropriate alternatives. As you can see from the pictures (we're the "Lincoln Place Townhouse"), Intrabuild built us a beautiful home. Beyond that, my wife and I truly appreciated the fact that Nick treated us as partners. He was always true to his word and always willing to strike a fair deal when we wanted something added to the project. Special thanks also go to project managers Andreas and Achilles who, like Nick, are skilled and resourceful people who take pride in their work.

Intrabuild Construction is single-handedly the most effective construction company that I have ever had the pleasure of working with on my commercial restaurant space, SLDR Burger Bar. Coming from a deep history in the restaurant business, I can whole-heartedly say that I am able to enthusiastically recommend Intrabuild for those seeking absolute professionalism in all aspects and phases of work -- from start to finish, i.e., timeline, transparency, attentiveness, dedication to excellence, commitment to customer satisfaction and so on., were truly made unsurpassable in my experience. I highly recommend IntraBuild Construction and specifically Nick, the general contractor, and Jason, the project manager, for any renovation project, especially those that may be challenging. The team recently completed a gut-renovation of my 6-story walk-up apartment in New York and the results are absolutely stunning. Despite the difficulties that come with working in an older, multi-level building, the team was able to complete the project efficiently and with minimal disruption to the surrounding tenants. Nick and Jason were both amazing to work with. They were attentive and always available to answer any questions I had, and they made sure the construction team was professional, skilled, and respectful of my space and the building as a whole. The quality of the work is top-notch and I am extremely happy with the final product. I would not hesitate to use IntraBuild Construction, Nick and Jason again for any future projects and I highly recommend them for anyone in need of renovation services, especially for those in multi-level building.

This is my second project with IntraBuild with this one being a full kitchen remodel. Once again, I was very impressed with the professionalism, helpfulness, and skill of every person I interacted with. In addition to the construction, Nick connected me with both a kitchen designer and custom millworker to really allow me to maximize the potential of my kitchen. The team worked closely with my building staff ensuring everything from permissions to final inspections went smoothly and quickly, I cannot recommend them enough.

IntraBuild is a great firm that delivers on their proposals. Work is on schedule and of a very high quality, but the first thing to note is their integrity and commitment to getting the work completed, as agreed upon. Nick and his amazing team agreed on the scope of our fairly large home remodel and stuck with it through complicated supply chain issues (thanks COVID), subcontractor issues and change orders, etc. They got it done and the whole thing looks FANTASTIC. In terms of quality of services, IntraBuild and their subs are first rate: major changes in our building structure were executed extremely well and safely; finishes were done with care and attention to detail - nice floors, nice plumbing, great window install; the many problems that inevitably arose were dealt with no questions asked. For example, we had a crazy situation with a large window that replaced a wall. Unbelievably the window was delivered with the wrong measurements (window company's fault) but they managed the install and the replacement perfectly. It looks so nice now. No thanks to Window Company, who still owe us window screens fifteen months later. Just an exceedingly high level of professionalism. When we had chnages or needed to adapt designs to field conditions, Nick and team always had helpful input from a contractor's perspective about what was buildable and cost-effective. They handled complex challenges on exterior and facade work exceedingly well. Make no mistake, IntraBuild's integrity is possibly the most important part of their work. The work itself was great, I really could go on, but with IntraBuild you have a good-faith partner, not an adversary. 100% recommend them for your home remodel.

Nick did a gut renovation for us on the upper west side. The pandemic struck just as we got approvals and demolition started. The walls were down. It was a stressful time for everyone, the building put everything on hold, and when they allowed work to continue it was limited to a certain number of people at a time. Despite the difficulties of working through this, Nick put his all into our job. His reputation is very important to him & we couldn’t be any happier with the renovation he did for us.

Nick & the Intrabuild team were excellent to work with. From getting my initial quote, Nick said 6 months to complete the job (which was a full gut renovation in a co-op building), and all of my friends told me that that would never happen and to expect delays. However - it did happen! We moved in 6 months later, on time. Nick was even trying to get us in earlier than that, which I think we could have achieved if it weren't for some delays on parts and things outside of our hands. Nick also does not try and sneak in any hidden fees -- he was very upfront if any change orders had to happen, and worked with me to make sure we stayed close to our budget. His team is also great too -- especially John! Can't recommend Nick & Intrabuild enough.

We hired Intrabuild because Nick knew our architect and our quirky building well and came to see if we could move the electrical panel - which would give us much more flexibility in the layout. At that point we hadn't yet hired him but I could tell right away that he was the kind of person that would try hard to make things work the way we wanted. Now that our renovation is complete, the quality of workmanship is the main reason I am very happy that we hired Intrabuild. The attention to detail really stands out. I couldn't be happier with the end result. Nick and John, the project manager, were great to work with, and despite all the challenges that COVID threw our way, they kept things moving forward. Intrabuild's estimate was fair and the change orders were limited to significant things that I changed along the way. I highly recommend Intrabuild.

Finding Nick of Intrabuild was, without a doubt, the best thing that could have happened for our gut renovation in TriBeCa. We bought a duplex in a historic building that needed a total gut renovation. We needed to do this during the thick of the Covid pandemic, where supply chain issues had shut down pretty much everything. With incredible speed and efficiency, Nick and his team went to work and completed our job within the promised time frame. Jason was our project manager and was so pleasant to work with. He was on the job every single day, as promised. They quickly solved any roadblocks that came along, made our experience as stress-free as possible, and always had a great attitude toward any issue. To top the experience off, we have a gorgeous home that I know we will love forever. Thank you Nick and Jason!

IntraBuild was the contractor for the job--and then some. They came highly recommended by other tenants in the co-op into which we had just moved, they collaborated seamlessly with our architect from start to finish, they were expeditious in dealing with the NYC Dept. of Building, the quality and efficiency of their work is second to none, and--as important as anything else--they consulted with me and my wife on the entirety of the project in a way that not only brought to fruition what we envisioned, but also helped us flesh out that vision with the greatest cost efficacy possible. I really can't recommend IntraBuild enough. Thanks, again!

Nick and my Project Manager, John, were wonderful and so helpful throughout my renovation project. I needed help with a random list of updates-- widening some closets, electrical updates, sanding & refinishing my floors, painting and wallpaper-- and everything was coordinated and taken care of with very little stress on my side. I am hoping to do a bigger renovation next year and would work with IntraBuild again in a heartbeat.

We were new to construction and unsure how to pick a contractor. We interviewed 3. Nick and his project manager, John, were both professional, communicative and responsive. Our project in Brooklyn was a remodel of a basement space into a bedroom, office, full bath and built-ins. The quote process was thorough but straight-forward. The project started immediately and was totally complete within 3 months. My designer said she has never seen a team move so quickly with such high-quality work. I was kept informed throughout the entire process. The workers were respectful of our home and our neighbors. The project was completed on time and on budget. No hidden surprises or additional costs. Nick was insistent on making sure we were happy with the work along the way and made sure loose ends were wrapped up quickly. Intrabuild had all of the insurance paperwork immediately and was a calming presence in what could have been a stressful process. I would only use Intrabuild again and recommend them to anyone looking for immaculate quality, speed and peace of mind.

Nick and his team did our kitchen renovation. Even though the project start was delayed because of COVID they almost still met their original timeline. The team was professional, efficient and did high quality work. The kitchen turned out beautifully, I would highly recommend Nick and his team.

Nick and his team were great at helping us renovate our kitchen on a short timeline. They were able to move quickly, kept to the deadlines they set, and were extremely professional as well as easy to work with. Even as changes and hiccups in procurement occurred they adapted on the fly. While the project was running, we decided to make additions updates to our apartment which they were able to accommodate easily. Would recommend them to anyone doing a home renovation and will use again for our next project!

Nick and his IntraBuild team did a phenomenal job renovating our Upper West Side apartment. It was a considerable task - removal of walls, replacing the floors, completing redoing the kitchen and bathrooms, etc. Through it all, Nick and team were extremely transparent and communicated frequently with status updates, pictures and weekly in-person meetings. We had a somewhat tight window, giving we were selling our old place and needed to move in by the agreed upon completion date. Nick was successful in completing our project on-time, so we could move into our dream apartment. Nick and his entire team at Intrabuild did a complete gut renovation on our kitchen as well as bathroom. They also did full electric and overhead lighting to an otherwise non existing overhead light situation. Their quality of work is superior. They came in and did the design, helped us with color choices and they finished ON TIME! The construction crew was professional, clean and courteous. Nick was always available either via phone or text. We started our project a few weeks before everything shut down for Covid. Intrabuild handled this unprecedented shutdown and worked as late as he could and picked back up as soon as the city allowed. Even with a global pandemic they finished on time. Full transparency of costs and budgets. Nick personally is the most budget conscious contractor and designer I have ever worked with. If something is out of budget he is able to make an on-site decision for a similar, but more cost effective look. They did beautiful work and the finishing on the paint job, floors and tile work we’re all perfect. Nick and his team did not disappear when the project was over. He did a very detailed walk through and made sure his team was available to fine tune any finishing touches. All of Nick’s work is under warranty for a year and Nick checks in time to time continuing the relationship before start to after finish. You’re really getting a whole team with Intrabuild. I would absolutely urge you to reach out for a quote and bid for your next house or apartment renovation.

We retained Intrabuild to renovate our Brooklyn apartment; not quite a complete gut, but close. Throughout our time working with Nick, his team performed superbly. We had weekly on-site meetings with Nick and his team (at his suggestion) which kept everyone coordinated and on the same page . Nick was innovative, resolving problems on the spot when his team encountered some technical or plumbing challenge. We lost about 3 months because of the non-essential construction moratorium, but Nick continued to engage with us during the pause and once the moratorium was lifted, his team immediately returned to work. When the project was completed, we did find a handful of things that required some additional work, and Nick dispatched someone to us within a day to to fix them. We unreservedly recommend Nick. Apart from the high quality of his work, Nick is a great guy who is committed to ensuring your home project materializes as envisioned.

Nick and Stefano and the team at IntraBuild did a remarkable job of gutting and transforming our crumbling, two-family row house built in 1930 in Astoria, into a modern, airy and spacious four-level, two-family residence. There were enormous decisions and tiny decisions at every step of the way. Nick always tried to answer our questions, or find the answers when he wasn't sure. When confronted with change orders he kept an open mind and said, "We can do this.". The quality of workmanship was excellent and Nick and Stefano were always ready to help with unexpected issues, day or night. Occasionally wires got crossed with communications with subcontractors (ie,plumbing), but Nick usually took responsibility for any problems. Intrabuild built a two-story addition in the back, added a third floor and added three balconies. They also addressed structural issues along the way. They often suggested cost-saving strategies. Communication was sometimes difficult during early days of the Covid pandemic when all construction was suspended in New York. In spite of this, IntraBuild stayed in touch and handled problems that arose. Once the construction ban was lifted, IntraBuild went full-steam ahead to complete the project. They started in July of 2019 and finished in September 2020, with March through May 2020 lost due to the pandemic. In all, it took about eleven months to complete. We would not hesitate to recommend IntraBuild for any construction project, large or small.

Project - apartment renovation UWS: 2 bedroom, 1,000 sq feet Nick and crew are experts in their field which is so important if you're looking for professional work to be done. Secondly they are punctual and dedicated to finishing a project once they start. The quality of their work is amazing. Price & contract: We reviewed the work we wanted with a walkthrough of the apartment. Nick was able to show me a live project he was delivering in the same building. Nick was upfront about the costs, what work he would deliver and how long it would take. He clearly outlined all in the contract with milestones and payment stages. Throughout the project we did not incur any surprise expense. He has extensive experience with the DOB approval process and documentation requirements. Timelines: The original 3m got extended due to Covid shut down (kick off Feb 2020, shut down end Mar 2020). Nick was phenomenal at managing once we were back up (Jun 2020) and getting all the right paperwork to kick start the process. Communication: Nick communicated and managed the process at all times. He was very clear what was required by when and he very closely managed all parties involved, incl architects. He also took the burden off of us in managing the managing agent of the building - which was fantastic as the building requires a lot of paperwork! Outcome: The quality of the work he delivered was amazing.

Nick and his team at IntraBuild are amazing to work with. Due to a long process to secure approval for our plans we worked with Nick for over year to complete our full gut of our 2 bedroom co-op. Through every unexpected curveball that came our way Nick quickly found solutions, moved quickly and advised us on our best options. Nick truly understands customer service and ensured that every installation and finish was to our satisfaction. I would recommend them over and over again!

Our project, which was basically a full renovation of our two bedroom, two bath condo in Manhattan, took place in really tough circumstances, in the teeth of this pandemic and included a complete shutdown of the project for several months. New floors, new bathrooms, new kitchen, revisions to some walls, reconstruction of Master Bedroom closet, dropped ceiling to accommodate additional lighting, paint everywhere, custom millwork/built-ins, and then finishing it all beautifully, with really lovely tile, fixtures, etc. Nick, together with his team, led by Jason, did a great job, and I feel like we have a new family - the IntraBuild team is here for us. We have a problem? They will find us a solution. The building staff appreciated their work and attitude and they even managed complicated neighbors. They are our forever contractor. IntraBuild was recommended to us by a friend and we are so pleased to have the opportunity to recommend them to you.

This was our first renovation in a NYC coop. Previously, our renovation experience was in our house in the Westchester suburbs. There, anyone with a hammer and license considers themselves qualified. The number of construction approvals is limited to only the local building manager and the friendly electrical/plumbing inspector. In contrast, the layers of approval in NYC is a maze beginning with the DOB, coop manager, coop architect and coop board. Intrabuild is totally familiar with all requirements, submitted all documents and guided us through the process. Nick is easy to work with, understands client requirements and does not take short cuts. Work is finished on time and compliant with all DOB and building codes. The quality of work was outstanding and well beyond our own imagination. Clearly, Intrabuild employs top level professionals for each aspect of our renovation. Attention to fine detail lead to an overall great job. We intend to contract with Nick again and would certainly recommend Nick and Intrabuild as your contractor.

Nick and Intrabuild were fantastic. I found about about Nick through a referral and from the very start he was professional, helpful, and honest. He helped me determine the scope of the project including a redoing the kitchen, bathroom, refinishing the floors, combining some closets, and repainting (he even talked me out of replacing my floors!). Nick helped my plan my kitchen, even coming to my IKEA appointment when I was running into issues with the layout, and hired all the necessary sub-contractors to get the work done. Nick has great taste and helped me made more aesthetic decisions as well. He was extremely helpful in helping me navigate my building management—and dealt with them when there were some delays—and the permit process. In the end, while I was facing some expected delays due to permit issues and a impending moving deadline, Nick and his team worked Saturday’s in order to make sure the apartment would be done in time, which it was. Nick was communicative and available throughout the entire process. I could not speak more highly of Nick and Intrabuild. He made a stressful process a lot less stressful and the apartment turned out it beautiful. He and his team were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them!

Nick of Intrabuild is a great communicator, from the initial interview and bid process through final punchlist, which inspired our trust from the outset. He's great at laying out the renovation process in a logical way; explaining design and structural options; and defusing any questions or tensions among building management, home owner, and any other involved parties which is a plus during the renovation process. We feel we got great quality workmanship, and very accurate rendition of the vision we had for our kitchen design. And the project was completed in the time period we expected and on budget.

Nick was super helpful with all of the upfront planning and paperwork required by our co-op. They asked for extra drawings and requirements we hadn't originally planned for and we got them back same week from Nick. Nick was helpful in providing examples of other work he had done / inspiration and pointed us in the right direction when we needed to pick out fixtures, paint, tiles, etc. Nick was communicative when we reached out to him but I wish we had a better handle of the overall schedule throughout the few months of work as timelines continued shifting (but I guess that is most construction projects for you!). The craftsmanship and attention to detail was great. We really enjoy our new kitchen! It was our first renovation experience and I would use Nick again for another project.

We found Nick through this site based on his positive reviews. He was one of several contractors we interviewed. Even though others were recommended by friends and neighbours, we ultimately chose Nick. He is very prompt, energetic, and an excellent communicator. The project – which included a gut kitchen renovation plus laundry room and coat closet – was started on time, and was completed within Nick’s estimate. There were no additional costs other than the changes we requested. His crew was very professional and personable. They always arrived on time, and made sure that the work caused minimal disruption to the rest of the apartment. We are very happy with the final result, and would hire Nick and his crew again for another project.

I had a great experience with Nick and would definitely use his team if I were to do it all over again. I'm a first-time renovator, and the project was a gut renovation of my kitchen and bathroom. While I replaced everything, I didn't move any gas or water/waste lines. I chose Nick for three reasons: He was one of the two contractors I interviewed who'd worked in my building, so I could check out his references in another unit, the superintendent vouched for him, and he was familiar with the management company. The building superintendent really vouched for Intrabuild too: "His kitchen and bathroom guys are really good." Which was great, because that was the scope of my project. Also, Nick's firm is a big operation, so I knew he wouldn't be a fly-by-night (Two units in my building had contractors up and run without finishing the job) and he could get the project done quickly. Here's how Nick works: He largely oversees the initial phase of the project and appoints a project manager to oversee the detail work toward the end. As the project nears completion - usually once electrical and plumbing is installed and they start to move in the cabinets, Nick takes a step back and you work more closely with the project manager. In my case, I worked with Dimitri, who was GREAT. Unfortunately, he left the company for another job, but both he and Nick were extremely attentive and responsive. Things I really liked: 1) Customer service was great. If I had a problem (say, an outlet was in the wrong place), it got fixed quickly. 2) The heavy lifting - demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, cabinet installation - all happened quickly. The project began mid-March and cabinets were installed by early May. From there, it took about a month for the finishing touches to be completed. 3) Nick's tile guy is awesome. The tiles I chose for the bathroom and kitchen backsplash were a pain to install. The bathroom tiles on the floor and wall were 36x36 porcelain, so not easy to work with due to their size. And the backsplash was teardrop tiles that had to be installed individually. Also, the kitchen floor was heavy slate. But the tile guy did a phenomenal job with everything. He was attentive to detail, and invested in making his work beautiful. 4) Honesty. Nick's quoted price was the price I ultimately paid. No hidden fees, no surprise problems where I needed to pay extra to get fixed. When there were overages, it was within my control (For instance, I needed a change order to install a new bathroom door). I really appreciated not having to worry about the financial aspect. 5) Cabinets. Obviously, we'll need to check back in five-10 years, but so far, they're awesome. While the price was double what I would have paid for Ikea or Cabinets.com, they still cost substantially less than the $20K mid-range cabinets I got quoted from Miralis. The cabinets are plywood, with a durable, painted finish (again, check back in a few years), and they're custom to accommodate the weird shapes and protrusions in the kitchen. Progress did slow down toward the end. The project manager Dimitri left for another job when the reno was about 95% done, and going through the minor details on the punch list happened over the course of a week or two. But ultimately, I'm really happy working with Nick's team. Before starting, I'd braced myself for a nightmare experience, and working with him, it really wasn't at all. Renovations are always stressful, and Nick did a great job scheduling his demo guys, plumbers, electricians, millworkers and countertop guys to come in and get stuff done in an orderly fashion. And he kept me in the loop in terms of who was coming and when. Most importantly, when there was a problem, it got fixed.

We hired Intrabuild to update our coop apartment by gutting the bathroom and cleaning up the floors, walls, doors, etc. in the rest of the place. They did a great job. This is a professional group that is focused on meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction. The subcontractors are also professional. When it came to final touches or dealing with the unexpected, Nick went the extra mile. I would recommend working with this group. I'm happy with the final product.

The team was professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We renovated 3 bathrooms, built out two closets, changed out the stair rail and built stair raises to create a more modern feel and painted the entire apartment. Whenever we would reach out with questions they responded almost immediately. We could not have been happier with our experience and the end product is just what we hoped for. Our only project delay was due to materials backed up in shipping that we ordered.

My past experiences with contractors was horrible, and those horror stories were true. Working with Nick and Dimitri really changed this experience - they are super detailed and would also anticipate and solve any problems we encounter. I love that I could share my ideas with them and they would give also their point of view. I also appreciate their patience as I did change some job scopes along the way, given some unexpected situations. I would certainly work with him again and definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a honest and reliable contractor who has an eye for details with high quality construction at a good price.

Nick was very helpful resolving any issues that arose during the course of construction and made sure we were happy with with the results. Additionally, the superintendent of my building and front desk staff also gave his team good reviews and said they were great to work with – which is no small matter in a shared living situation. As a design professional I have very high standards for quality and a particular eye, and Nick understood that and was terrific to work with even when we were not the easiest clients. We are extremely happy with our new apartment and would work with Intrabuild again in a heartbeat. Nicholas was wonderful to work with! He was available 24/7 for all questions and concerns. His work and crew are outstanding . He was extremely helpful when choosing all fixtures, hardware and accessories. The renovation was completed on time. This is my fifth renovation and by far the least stressful and most enjoyable!

Nick remained fully committed to our project from start to finish. Nick listens to your needs, views and concerns, then ensures his team handles each subtle detail with expertise. When something is not completed as expected, Nick and his team diligently redo the work to the agreed condition. We initially interviewed five contractors for our project, and received 3 quotes. Nick was not the least expensive nor the most expensive, but he offered to include the finishing touches on our apartment to ensure we got the most out of our renovation. Ultimately, we decided to add extras along the way which lengthened the project time frame by several weeks and stretched our cost slightly, however Nick did his best to complete all the extras while not adding labor to the total bill. Nick is an extremely competent, patient and detailed contractor. We would highly recommend him for any apartment renovation in the city, no matter how stringent the coop rules. Things that Intrabuild did well were: - Responding to questions and concerns immediately. - Following the rules of our coop building. - Staying close to budget for both the original scope of work, as well as the extras. - Having a weekly in-person meeting to review the project and next steps. - Outlining the project step-by-step, as well as the costs. - Introducing good, cost-conscious material and appliance vendors. - Coordinating with sub-contractors so you only have to deal with one point of contact. - Covering and protecting our furnishings and rooms so we could continue to live in the apartment during construction.

Intrabuild totally remodelled our kitchen and touched up our bathroom. They did an excellent job and my wife and I couldn't be happier. They demolished the existing kitchen, knocked down walls, filled in a doorway, updated the electrics, put in new floor tile, new cabinets, new backsplash and lighting. Nick was incredibly easy to deal with, very friendly and straightforward. He was respectful of our budget and tried to help us save money. Intrabuild's employees were also very careful and thorough in the work they did. We now have a kitchen that looks fantastic and is also really functional. Were we to need further work on our home or a future home, I'd definitely go back to Intrabuild.

Hired Intrabuild to build out our new Astoria office after being turned down by many other contractors due to the jobs intricate detailing and difficulty.
