My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Mathew Desrochers about 2 years ago. He assisted us to identify both interior and exterior areas of our 1950's bungalow that required major updating. He suggested that we proceed with a three phase renovation to lesson the inconvenience to the family during the work. Mathew spearheaded the project from the exterior architectural design to the interior floor design detail and from obtaining the required permits to commencing the renovation. He also provided excellent ongoing guidance with selection of the interior decorative finishings. Any and all concerns during the renovation project (and no project is without a few) were discussed and dealt with by Mathew and the construction team respectfully. Attention to the interior and exterior detail was amazing and a source of delight! Our family, friends and neighbours share in the joy of our new home! We would definitely hire Desrochers Custom Homes and Renovations Inc. to design / build if we have the opportunity to undertake another project in the future!

We contracted Mathew Desrochers Exquisite Exteriors (now MD Homes) to carry out a major renovation on our recently purchased 1950's bungalow. Mathew introduced us to an architect and together we were able to come up with a plan to update the look and functionality of our home. The work involved the addition of a new main floor family room and mud/laundry room with full basement, structural improvements, waterproofing, new roofing, new flooring, covered front and rear porches, new windows and doors, electrical and plumbing updates and new kitchen. During the execution of the work we did uncover a couple of surprises that to our relief Mathew resolved quickly, at a very reasonable cost while keeping schedule. Mathew remained on budget and schedule throughout the project and we couldn't be happier with the result. The renovation has been enthusiastically received by neighbours. The MD Homes team were great to work with making what could have been a very stressful process much easier. Thank you Mathew for always being available and your never ending enthusiasm.

Mat and his team completely renovated our home exterior. From design to budgeting, project management to installation, Mat was always actively engaged and committed to exceeding our expectations. He was able to adjust when necessary, but was always respectful of budget. He was also very conscious of what went behind the walls, ensuring our house was properly insulated and protected from the elements. Would highly recommend Mat.
