Strandberg Construction Inc

I would give Strandberg Construction six stars if I could. They were always professional and helpful. When I didn't have the time to make choices and left decisions in their hands everything always turned out perfectly. The people at Strandberg took time to explain each phase of the construction. And, when I misunderstood what was going they had immense patience in correcting my understanding and making me comfortable. I only hope that I build another house again in Anacortes some day, because I would love to embark on this process once again!

We have been in our Strandberg home for a bit over a year and couldn’t be happier! From start to finish Strandberg made the process easy and fun. The communication and organization made the whole building process run smoothly. Many thanks to the team for helping us realize our dream for our forever home! Jeremy & Meghan McMahan

We had an excellent experience with the Strandberg team in all facets of our project. They communicated with us effectively throughout the process: on the progress report side, the financial side, and the actual construction itself. They were extremely pleasant to work with. Every challenge encountered was met with a can-do attitude and a creative solution. They steered us to some excellent local vendors to use for flooring, countertops, lighting, etc. We could not have been happier with the process and the results. On all levels the Strandberg organization kept us informed and produced excellent results. Thanks to the entire Strandberg team! Steve H.

We built a house from across the country and everyone at Strandberg was so good at keeping us involved and getting projects done when we were away and couldn’t. We loved the biweekly FaceTime to show progress and when we could visit the site, Aimee made sure to keep a detailed schedule to make the most out of our time. Everyone at the office is so nice and extremely good at their job. The vendors they use are amazing. As for the house, it is more than what we could have ever dreamed of. It is truly our dream house and the quality is definitely representative of a custom, luxury builder.

Strandberg was the construction contractor for our retirement dream home in Anacortes and we absolutely love our home! Build quality was excellent and Strandberg has been on the spot in helping us deal with typical "new home" issues. Our construction superintendent in particular, Vic, was a joy to work with and did everything reasonably possible to help us get into our home on schedule and with the features and quality we desired.

We've been engaged with Strandberg for the past 2 yrs for the design and construction of our custom home. Our site manager and project manager are top notch and have gone above and beyond our highest expectations. We broke ground in April 2021 and encountered some of the worst price spikes at the beginning of the pandemic. The owner of this company recognized the unexpected financial impact and was generous with his patience for our payment of the cost overruns. Every employee we've dealt with has been attentive to our needs and concerns and quality oriented. We are thrilled with the results and look forward to many happy years in our gorgeous Strandberg home.

Aimee, Vic, Jason, Steve, Nels, Todd and all our contacts were absolutely wonderful to work with. We would do it again. 360-710-1886, if you would like to chat. Mike McKinney.

Another 5 star review for Strandberg Construction! Our new house is spectacular and the process from start to finish was a dream. You hear so many horror stories about projects gone bad, but the Strandberg team runs a tight ship. We finished on time, within a couple percent of the initial budget and without any tears. Project management, communication and collaboration were all stellar. This is a custom home in every sense of the word. Strandberg's crew, vendors and subcontractors are all on board with the principle of making sure you get exactly what you want. Their attention to detail far exceeded our own and their creativity (both with the design and build) yielded a lot of 'pop' that we wouldn't have dreamed up on our own.

Simply stated, Strandberg Construction is the best. Somehow, at the end of my build, I feel I have a new family. Dare I say I would build from scratch again! But only with Strandberg Contruction!

We would highly recommend Strandberg Construction to build your house. This was our first such build and we had heard of many projects elsewhere that were delayed or not completed to the owner's satisfaction. We shopped around, called references, and Strandberg proved the easiest to work with during this budgeting phase. We designed two houses, but the first design had a lot of excavation costs and proved too expense. We rushed the second version through design and permitting and still started construction in June of 2020. We moved in 50 weeks later, even with a one month shut down due to new Covid 19 requirements. Strandberg proved easy to work with, they listened to our requests and came in on budget. Subcontractor quotes from over a year ago were still honored and did not go up in price. I do a lot of woodworking and they permitted me to build some projects into the house before and after move in. The whole project was stress free and we love the results.

We are satisfied customers and whole heartedly recommend Strandberg Construction and feel we would count them as friends. As enormous a task building a home is they were there for us all the way through with clear support and suggestions. Aimee, Vic, Steve, Erinn, Debbie, Leslie, Tyler, and Nels directed, coordinated, managed and led experienced trade groups through the design and build process. Great teamwork. We love the home they built for us. Our collaborative project included: early concept discussions design engineering development/details aesthetics design advice product sourcing/advice subcontractor selection, & management best-practices build execution & the concluding/important details of finishing, & landscaping All elements were handled respectfully and with skill & an eagerness to provide helpful service. The organization is professional, listens/communicates well, and operates with a strong daily work ethic delivering quality workmanship. Unanticipated surprises were minimized and those that did arise, were addressed openly, forthrightly, & fairly. And now that we are living in the house, Strandberg’s continuing relationship is supportive. Smart, rare, talented, & genuine. Steve and Carole Bleistein

We would highly recommend Strandberg Construction to anyone who wants to build a high-quality home. Nels has filled his company with the most professional people who all take great pride in their work. Nels led us to a unique lot that met all our needs. Aimee managed our project with calm expertise. She is very organized and always knows just how to get the answer to any question that comes up. She was also very helpful in selecting options which fit our taste and budget. Vic executed the build on site smoothly and precisely. He leads by example and is obviously respected by everyone on site. He insists on quality at every step. Issues came up, but they were handled promptly, respectfully, and professionally. Everyone was always very easy to work with, and they are still there for us now. Aimee and Vic are true professionals. After construction, Nels designed our landscaping and Cele did an excellent job of installing it. It has turned out even better than we had envisioned. Finally, Strandberg connected us with Piers at Sustainable Building Company, who designed and built a beautiful fence for us. High standards were employed by all involved throughout the build. Perfect scheduling, great communication, and quality workmanship were the norm. Thank you to everyone at Strandberg Construction! We love our new home!
