Our experience was professional and actually fun to plan and explore new ideas. Everyone is creative and easy to work with. A lot of great ideas for making things exactly as you want your home or space to appear.

We used Theorem to design our new home. My wife and I had not been through the design process before and Shane, and Lenzie, guided us through every step. They took all the time we needed and were always willing to meet with us when we had questions. We were excited about the design and would certainly recommend them to other people looking to build a home.

Shane Knight, theorem., Durant, OK, is the most professional, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous and client aware architect in this area. He has remodeled a master bath and bedroom for us, and we are currently in the process of a complete kitchen remodel. Shane is so easy to work with, and listens to us as his client and advises according to our wishes, and what works best in the design. We are looking forward to the finished product, and more projects in the future with Shane.

We are very happy with the finished product. As with all home building, there were glitches along the way, but all were handled professionally. My only complaint was that the house came in over budget.

Shane/Theorem and his very capable crews and contractors renovated our 1970's master bath into just what we wanted. I appreciated that he listened to our ideas and improved them and added his own. He was able to install a very large stained glass panel and all the frosted glass doors we wanted. He designed and built the vanity cabinets and tub enclosure using top quality craftsmen. He was always available by phone or email and kept us posted when materials were delayed. He was very easy to work with, paid attention to every detail and found solutions when problems with an old house showed up. I highly recommend him and Theorem for any new construction or remodeling project. He has the resources and ability to do it all.

We hired Theorem to design our home in February 2015. We had an idea of floor plan and general style and also a bucket list of things we wanted in our new home. Shane took everything we gave him and designed a beautiful home taking into account every detail. He worked very hard to incorporate any suggestion we had, even showing us 3 or 4 completely different upstairs floor plans to compare which one we liked. Every time I suggested even the most minor change, Shane was willing to add/change anything but also respectfully give me feedback if something I was requesting might have a caveat I hadn't thought of. He took the plans to an even greater detail, designing cabinets, taking special care with the electrical plan, and incorporating old bricks from the house that was on the property previously into the plan, etc. As we live too far for Theorem to actually build our house, Shane made sure that the plans were standard to the building codes of our area. And every builder we have interviewed, has complimented Shane's work and the detail that he put into these plans that most architects don't do for builders. Shane, his project manager and his office staff are pleasant to work with and honest about cost and time frame for the project. Thank you Theorem, we love our plans and can't wait to get in our new home!!

Theorem redesigned house plans acquired on the Internet , including landscaping plans and completely contracted the subs to complete our beautiful home. It was necessary for this company to understand our ideas and to design the exterior and interior look we wanted. The company's knowledge of materials, cost and options available was outstanding.. This company was superior because of his architectural background. This knowledge allowed for very little waste in materials. Superior, fast and reliable service. All questions were answered quickly and thoroughly.

Summary - Theorem is great. It's the right choice to use a design & build firm, especially in SE Oklahoma. Shane will provide great service in planning and execution. Details - We asked Shane/Theorem to significantly expand and rebuild our Lake Texoma property from the ground up while working with us remotely from Austin. This was concerning/challenging for us as we had just been through another difficult building project in Austin where we had struggled to have the architect and builder communicate. Our previous struggles led us to favor a design and build so that the architect could also be responsible for the level of finish/quality. Shane provided excellent communication throughout the process, responding quickly and directly with feedback on cost and difficulty throughout the planning phase. We then agreed a budget and a timeline. When issues arose, Shane was quick to address and fix each one. He owned up to mistakes and offered solutions when we had surprises in the project. I was also impressed with the level of finish by his crews as I was worried about local craftsmen. To my great surprise - Shane was able to beat the budget and meet a very compressed timeline. I know that he personally was in the house working late the week before 4th of July so that we could enjoy the house for the big holiday weekend. We very much appreciated his efforts on our behalf. No building project ever comes out 100% as you might have dreamed as there will always be surprises and things you would have changed after the fact. Mr. Knight is the most professional man I have had the pleasure of dealing with for the kitchen project and new television cabinet and redo bay windows in my garage. He uses the highest quality products and crew for every detail and project. He maintains the highest of standards even when lower bids edge out jobs. His wife is just as professional and well versed on the details as her husband. All I can add is they are down to earth, and solid as a rock!!
