STAY AWAY!! There aren't enough words to express strongly enough how unprofessional this company is. Although this was our first time using Frenchy & Sons, it was not our first time doing a job of this magnitude. We are in the business of renovating and "flipping" houses. This particular project is our own home. The techs, who worked in our home treated it like it was a cave. The mess they made on the ceilings, walls, floors, and joists was horrendous. They tracked mud all over the house. They cut so many extra holes that the walls and joists look like swiss cheese. They did not clean up the house when they finished each day. Dust and debris was everywhere, causing tripping hazards for other trades and for us. They clogged our toilet using paper towels to clean themselves, when plenty of toilet paper was supplied for them. When I called Jean Claude, the owner of the company, to come to look at the condition of the job site, he referred to his techs animals. He hired a plumber to unclog the toilet, and asked what else he could do to make us happy. We asked him to think about it and get back to us. He never did, so we had our drywall installer and our painter come back to give us updated estimates for the additional work caused by Frenchy's. We called Jean Claude and told him what the additional costs were. ($2300!) We suggested that he contact the other trades directly to confirm those numbers. We also told him that we wanted different techs to come back to do the finish work. He said he'd get back to us, but never did. We tried calling him, but he refused to pick up our calls. We emailed and we texted, and he never responded. The job was "Labor and material" so we paid for the material that the techs ordered. We have never heard from Jean Claude again. The only way we discovered that Frenchy had no intention on finishing our job was when our credit card was credited by the supplier. Unfortunately, not all of the material we paid for was returned, so in addition to the added expense due to the mess made by these slobs, we were also shorted $220. Because of Frenchy and Sons, we are out $2520. Jean Claude's lack of culpability is contemptible. Frenchy and Sons Electrical Maintenance & Contracting is dishonorable, unprincipled, and unethical.
