Terrible communication and planning! If you ever plan to use this company please be sure to speak with a manager to plan each step of your process individually. Do not rely on them to communicate the process to you up front. They either don't care to share that information, or just plain don't know. I will end up paying hundreds of extra dollars out of my pocket for information they simply didn't care to disclose to me when we hired them. They take no accountability for their own work, nor do they care for their customers enough to communicate effectively.

If you want a professional and through job with attention to detail do not hire this company.
Having a fire in your home is devastating enough and I would not want anyone to have an experience like I did with this contractor. They did damage to my windows, cabinets and tile, they do not use a professional cleaning company therefore I had to clean my entire home after moving back in which is the last thing you should have to do after paying $50,000.

Mrs. Adams, We are sorry you didn't have a 5 Star experience with us. We do strive to do our best for every client. But, I believe we need to set the record straight here. We were brought in on your claim as your second contractor, the first contractor didn't get your claim approved correctly and they were willing to settle for $2154.69 dollars. On 5/25/17 you signed your contract with us. Then on 7/19/2017 we got approval on a scope that TRT felt was more reasonable to move forward with the remediation process, so on 7/20/2017 we started work. Once TRT got involved your claim reached $39,90.92 dollars, which included: Asbestos abatement, removal of and replacement of drywall and insulation in 3 rooms, the crawlspace cleaned with new poly and insulation and the attic insulation was completely removed, cleaned and replaced. In addition, all the walls and ceilings were wiped down to remove soot from them and repainted to the color of your choice. Electrical was brought up to code per the city inspectors request, since you had ceiling fans wired in with extension cords as well as newly wired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors wired into a new sub panel box with Arch Breakers. Your kitchen cabinets and counter tops were cleaned and cabinets painted inside and out. "Per your electrician, the master bathroom GFCI was bad and had no ground and needed to be on a dedicated breaker as well as you needed a complete panel upgrade". None of which are issues that are addressed in the insurance scope of work from your insurance company. Your windows seals were already damaged from the age of the home, as they will blow out over time when it get hot/cold and the gasket expands before finally giving way. And as for your tile issue in your master bedroom, we cured the issue by putting a threshold in, and when we completed it you texted the Project Manger and said you were pleased with the work. Now that we are finished with the job, you have brought up issues and we have offered to cure the issues in your home. We have continued to ask you for your complete punch out list but we only get bits and pieces of things. The project manager put you on the schedule to fix the issues you gave us and you canceled the night before by texting the Project Manager and telling him not to come back on your property. While doing a walk thru with other people involved in this claim you have made comments on how well the house looks. With your unwillingness to allow us to cure the issues per our contract then we have to believe that we have completed our job 100% and ask that you sign the COW and pay the balance in full.

Do not use this company! They did a horrible job. They also threatened to put a lien on our home if not paid.

I'm sorry you feel that you didn't have a 5 star experience with our company. But as I explained to you on the phone we were responsible for mitigation purposes at your home, not the Rebuild portion as you did not select that service on your contract with us while we were at your home nor did you call the office and request us to perform those services. We spoke to your insurance company who said that your insurance claim was denied and closed which leaves you paying for services rendered per our contract that you signed the night you called us out. When you stated that you were not going to pay the bill after many calls and attempts we had no other choice but to protect our interest and if that meant filing a Lien on your home then we would do so. Again I'm sorry that you didn't have a 5 star experience with us and maybe because you and your husband were in a panic state of mind since your house was flooding and didn't understand that it was two different departments that handled two different aspects of the job.
