I contacted this company to do our fence thinking Mark would be professional enough to deliver what we agreed as to the date of completion. I had our yard fenced for the upcoming party. Mark assured me that privacy fence will be installed couple of days before the party. Lo and behold, the fence was installed a day before the party. Called up Mark's personal number as well as the office, both calls landed in deaf ears. I had to stop by the office to get updates and expressed my frustrations about the job. I had hired someone to help me set up the place for the party which did not materialize for there were folks around installing the fence. I ended up preparing the place myself, a waste of time and money. The privacy fence looks decent, but the service stressed me. I am pretty sure there are other fencing companies out there which are reliable.

Estimate omitted "cap" for across top of each panel [otherwise vertical grain T&G rots from moisture/rain]. Wanted extra charges for these caps saying they were not part of estimate. The cap omission is not an "industry practice" they said they follow in their Terms. They put panels directly on the ground [vs raised above to prevent rotting from ground moisture]. The panels were not installed level [sloping property line] vs "stepped". They did correct this at install. They Promised to return to raise panels off ground and never came back. These are "basic fence install standards" [my quote] not followed here. Make certain estimate has all required parts, post and panel caps, and installed level and not set on ground.

I am very surprised about some of these negative reviews I am seeing. I had my fence installed this week and for me it was a positive experience. My neighbor had used this company for the installation of their fence a few years back so I checked with them before hiring Discount Fence. A 4 man crew (Gabriel, Bryan, Abelardo & Daniel) started the installation on Tuesday and completed the job on Wednesday. They were courteous, efficient and professional. They listened and followed thru on my instructions on how I wanted the fence to lay in specific areas. Overall they made it a good experience. Love my fence and so do my neighbors. Thank you guys!

Called to order some fence supplies for a small project. First Mark said they don't provide supplies, just for their installs. I cut and pasted the language from his website that says they are the best provider of supplies in CT, including installation videos. He replied, sorry, my mistake, 100 section minimum (which is ridiculous- 100 sections, 10ft/section= 1000 ft minimum), how many do you need? When I got him on the phone, he said, oh yeah, cedar right, yeah I'm out of that and my supplier won't have until August. Fool me once..... Save your money, i felt dirty after this interaction, and looking at the other reviews, looks like i'm far from being alone.

dirt bag company screwed up job and owes me my money back. I tried multiple time to resolve this properly.

This is reply from Onwer: I saw your reviews. Now there will be no refund BUYER BEWARE. Entice by good price but a scam. Mark Pucci or Steve Quaranta in MILFORD, CT are people I dealt with at this company. They took a deposit and disappeared. Said they would start within week and had to hound them/owner to get work done. They screen their calls through an auto phone service. Gave deposit in Aug 2018 and still trying to get almost $4,000 back. They didn't finish project and at this point I don't want them on my property EVER.

Had my fence done by this company And Initially did a great job. With a recent tornado that hit my backyard in May we had parts damaged and wanted to pay to have fixed as we were being reimbursed by our insurance company. My wife made 2 appointments for mark to come see the damage and he never showed or called to let us know he was not coming. Contacted multiple times through text, phone calls and thumbtack to get no response. Finally got in contact via a different cell left a voicemail stating I was a new customer and wanted work done. Got a phone call with in hours!!! After speaking to mark and explaining who I was he then played phone tag with me and said he couldn’t speak because he was driving (he called me). He finally sent someone to do a quote same guy who came initially and he priced us out and said when they could start and mark would contact me. He never did and stopped responding to phone calls and text. Giving 1 star because of POOR customer service and owner only worried about big dollar jobs not when his customers need repair work or follow up.

This company installed a double PVC gate across my driveway to replace an old chain link gate. Two plastic posts (no reinforcement) were installed and left to cure for several days, then the gates were hung and adjusted. Within a week the free standing post was bending, the gates were hitting together, not closing properly. The company came back, added some more concrete inside the post and propped the gate up while it cured. Within a month the problem reappeared. Calls to the company went unanswered. The posts were not reinforced (there is supposed to b e reinforcement in a gate post, and the posts are too close together for the fence dimensions. The adjustable hinges are shortened until the screw heads are bottoming out. The gate post strikes the latch screws when the gate closes. My attempts to strengthen the free post by adding more concrete inside and installing a 4 X 4 beside it with a tensioning rod helped briefly, but in the hot weather the gate (apparently) grows enough that it still interferes. And I've given up on this company!

I have not gotten my fence yet but so far the experience has been upsetting! With a $9,000 job you would think that I am not asking for much ! I am not an unreasonable person at all ! All I ask is if the product is delayed to please update me with the information! I will understand the situation and be happy ! Don’t avoid my phone calls !

Tim came out and was very friendly and was able to give me a very fair estimate. So after having other companies estimates much more ,I decided to hire Discount Fence for my Vinyl fence. The fence was delivered and they came out as planned,And they took Down my old fence and put up my new fence in ONE day.They came back next day and hung gates, looks Great ! Thanks Marc and Tim

Terrible work! Don't hire. As far as I am concerned, this is the worst fence installation job I have ever seen. They may only be a few bucks cheaper and you can tell by their poor quality of work and caring. The fence panels are not even nor the poles. Parts of the same fence panel are to the ground and some have a gap underneath. NEVER totally filled all the old post holes up and debris all over the yard from them digging that they never cleaned up or raked out, including my next door neighbors property. Being in our 60's I paid alot of hard to come by money and I am out there cleaning up their aftermath. It is a terrible thing when that every time I step outside that I get upset as I am constantly reminded about what we got in return for our money. I hope Mark has a really clean conscientious and I wonder if he would be happy if someone did the same job they did here,,,, at his residence. I feel like I was so totally taken by this guy. Save yourself aggravation, pay the extra money and go with another fence contractor. It is true you get what you pay for, go cheaper, get poor quality work.

We hired this company to put up a new vinyl fence But unfortunately they put on the wrong latch it was supposed to be a self closing one, which we paid for. The job was done in April 2017. He was contacted many times thru emails and texts with no responses back. Finally he responded saying he would be out in the next few days to put the self closing latch on. He never showed. I called him a month after that and he asked me what was the emergency, did the dog get out? And then he hung up on me. Finally after 4 months he came and replaced it.
