Full service companies were needed in the hearth industry. Customers wanted one company that could handle the job from start to finish. Fireplaces by Design’s parent company, Design Air, stepped in and developed a hearth business; a natural step from the HVAC industry. The next generation of gas fired and pellet stoves were changing how business was done. They were being designed with more complicated control systems. It was the perfect time for Design Air to become involved. These new control systems needed professional services.
