Poorly managed with an arrogant and rude owner. Our floor were ordered with a several thousands dollar in Feb. Never heard from him and had to follow up myself. I was greeted rudely about his other jobs. The service was a terrible experience for a costly and providing customer satisfaction. He provided neither. Since this bad experience I have heard many similar complaints about the owner from many people within the construction industry. So, we are not the only ones who have found ourselves dissatisfied. Check around first before buying from Georgie's, you will be amazed by what you will hear from other businesses and contractors.

This business is run by the most obnoxious and rude individual I have ever met in a business setting. His business provided inferior product and/or installation and he got angry when I asked him to come out and check the work in progress that we were unhappy with, claiming that he'd have to charge me extra if he had to come out to my home, just a few miles from his business. The installer he subcontracted the job to (after telling us all of his crews worked for him) tried heroically to make the tile work, but I think he was fighting a loosing battle. Almost none of the grout lines were level, due primarily, I believe to inferior tile that he talked us into at the last minute, switching us from the Spanish tile my wife had already chosen, and not revealing that it was Chinese tile after my wife had repeatedly stated that she wanted only Italian or Spanish tile and definitely not anything made in China. After going back and forth with him for weeks, we finally had to fire him and dispute the charges, which took months while we lived in a home that was turned upside down. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of service provider. I would NEVER hire him again and would urge anyone looking to have flooring done to stay far away from this business

Georgie's two employees did an awesome job on laying our floors. Fernando Travieso and Pedro were very polite and pleasant. They cleaned up every night so there was no mess for us to clean up. They are very meticulous about the work and we are very pleased with the floors. They turned out awesome. We always recommend this company to others in our community that are thinking of putting in new floors.

I had my entire downstairs wood laminate flooring provided by Georgie's and installed by his subcontractor in the summer of 2014. In September of 2015 my Air Handler in the attic leaked and damaged the flooring in one bedroom. At this time, my wife had terminal cancer and was in bed often. We moved out of the bedroom to our loft on a futon. My father-in-law began to fix rip out damaged wood, he wanted to fix the bedroom quickly so we could move back in. He contacted the original subcontractor to measure the needed flooring early October, and paid him for the work. He then ordered 4 boxes of flooring from Georgie's on October 9th (I have receipt). And was told the flooring would be in in a week. We waited but it did not arrive, my father-in-law followed up with store and was told it would be in anytime. We did not know when it would be in, assuming soon, we just stayed in loft. The flooring NEVER arrived. My wife never got to return to her bedroom, she past away on 10/28 spending her final bed ridden days on a futon. It is now 1/10, 3 months later. My father in law called several times and visited the store twice and every time he is fed the same line "its back ordered but will definitely be her in xx days (usually a week out). We checked with other stores online, and are able to get the flooring. We asked for our money back but they refuse. I finally went to the store on 1/8 and was told the same thing "it will be here soon, we wont give you your money back , we will have owner call you". He has never called me. Its been 3 months, we have been lied to at least 6 times, given deadlines that pass with no product, they refuse to give us our money back. I do not want any more dealings with this establishment. I just want our refund. With everything going on in my life with wife's passing, this is just an added stress and I am sick of it. I have receipt, I want our payment back.

we paid in full for carpet and laminate and were promised baseboards and install within 10 days..well its almost 6 weeks later and finally after being lied to 5 times, the work is finally complete. Georgie doesn't deserve to be in business. I just took the high road so the work would get done. thanks for being the worse place ever to do business with
