About Us

Jeff's Floor Refinishing is a licensed and fully insured local business that has been servicing the greater metro area for over 20 years. Owner Jeff Garcia, started in the wood flooring industry in 1991 where he learned the craft from his father. From 1991 to 1995 Jeff worked for Contemporary Wood Floors which was a successful business owned by his father. In 1995 Jeff founded Jeff's Floor Refinishing and started taking on jobs while continuing to contract with his father's business. In 2019, after 25 years of experience and hundreds of jobs later, Jeff still continues to service the greater metro area. Jeff did an amazing job on our old, damaged wood floors in our Armatage home in Minneapolis. He came out for a bid, gave us a detailed invoice outlining materials and services, and kept in contact throughout the work process to communicate and keep us updated. His pricing was very reasonable and his professional eye and attention to detail resulted in floors we can be proud of- an amazing feat considering what they looked like before. I’d definitely recommend him again.
