Joe Hardwood Floors

Pros: They installed wood floors in our home. Cons: They said the foreman would be there on the day I chose stain colors. Foreman was not there and crew member did not speak English. Couldn't get in touch with boss on the phone. Boss man came to pick up final check by dropping by unannounced on a Sunday and basically refusing to leave without a check. A few months after they installed floors, humps in flooring appeared in two rooms. I contacted foreman and foreman's boss and heard nothing. Bumps grew larger and now the floor is splitting. Boss man and foreman not returning my husband's calls or emails.

Joe people did my old hard wood floor jobs last year. I wrote a great comment after that time, and posted it, somehow, I can not see my comment. All I can say is that the jobs were well done, my wife and I are so happy for the floors. Not only the jobs are great, the price is very fair too. I solicited bids from 3 different flooring groups to replace my carpeted staircase with hardwood floors to match the rest of the home. The first two were both much higher (as in several thousand dollars higher) then I was eventually quoted by Rob's (the owner) group. I was leery of the price discrepancy, but decided to go with Joe Hardwood Floors based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews I read on Google. I am so glad I did!! Ozzie (the project manager) was awesome and showed up regularly to check on the workers, who were very polite and professional. The arrived on time, and completed the work flawlessly. I can't even tell that my stairs were not completed at the time of the homes' construction - that is how spot on the coloring matched! I am very pleased with the work, the timeline, and especially the price. So much so that I will be using them again for our new home. Thanks for the great job, Rob!

We recently decided to replace the carpet in two bedrooms of our house with hardwood floors. I contacted three hardwood floor companies - two that I found by researching on line and one that was a personal recommendation. Joe Hardwood Floors was one that I found on line and I was immediately impressed. I initially talked to Rob Navon, the owner, and scheduled a meeting with him for the following day. I think it only took about 20 minutes for him to talk with me, measure and prepare a quote. I had already received a quote from the company that was personally recommended and Rob's pricing was half of their quote. I accepted his bid on the spot and canceled my appointment with the third company. I knew I had found a company that was professional, reasonable and would provide good work. The day after I signed the bid, I received a phone call from the project manager, Ossie, to discuss the overall process and timeline for the project. They were able to put me on the schedule very quickly. Ossie arrived on the first day so he could assess the type of wood and stain that would match the existing hardwoods in my hallway. He helped me find a stain that matched my existing floors really well, which is quite a feat considering they are an unknown mix of three different stain colors!. Rob was very responsive, personable and professional and Ossie was a total delight. He is incredibly organized and really cares about making the customer happy. He accommodated all of my requests and did it with good humor and patience. The process went very smoothly and was completed in the exact amount of time as promised. Anyone who has done any renovation work knows that is quite a rarity! I am very pleased to highly recommend Joe Hardwood Floors.

I'm happy to recommend Joe Hardwood Floors after the work they did refinishing the floors in a house we are buying. They were professional every step of the way, from the estimate by Rob to the quality of the workmen to the care taken by Ossie, the project manager. All in all, I think we chose the right company.

I hired Joe Hatdwood Floors to completely redo my hardwood floors in my new build Craftsman bungalow in the Houston Heights area - the builder had stained them black, which just doesn't work in Houston. Extremely well-organized operation, responds to phone and email questions, stuck to their word and timeline, cleaned up the mess, and the end result was spectacular. Ossie was the foreman on the job and was very personable, team was efficient and friendly, and Ossie even came over for a "post-op" visit when we had questions after the fact.
