Ella’s is set in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan and boy are we spoiled. Not just by the perfect view of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay, but by all the charming attractions Northern Michigan has to over, and a great supportive community. We work with some of the best companies in the world who design and manufacture ethically, and with integrity. Staying true to her roots, Ella’s sales floor is also infused with hand-selected vintage and antique pieces that have been curated across the globe, from California to New York to Paris. Here, you will discover luxurious fabrics, couture tailoring, quality workmanship and a staff hungry to share their passion for style. Established in 1999, Wendy Buhr-Dorman opened Ella’s to inspire the creative heart of Traverse City, offering something a little more urban, sexy, and unique. In November of 2008, Ella’s expanded into a new location, moving 650 sq ft to a wonderful 2600 sq ft, expanding into the world of Men’s and House & Home. In 2014, we launched our website and online store to reach out to fans spanning across the country. Ella’s celebrates in 17th anniversary in 2016, and is excited to continue our purpose of bringing unique fashion and furnishings to Northern Michigan. At Ella’s we believe it is more important to buy fewer items of better quality, with timeless appeal, that our customers will continue to enjoy season to season, year after year.
