About Us

Forest Dweller is a custom furniture maker based in Troy, Michigan specializing in Live Edge, Modern, and Industrial style pieces for Commercial, Residential, and Interior Design clients. We thoroughly enjoy the design process and working with our clients to create never-before-seen pieces that are a perfect fit for their personal style and taste. Whether the project is a modern coffee table, an industrial style conference table, or a dozen restaurant tables, most of our pieces are made entirely on-site, where they are cut, shaped, sanded, and finished to client specifications, using both traditional woodworking techniques as well as the latest equipment and finishing processes. Our studio at 1826 Larchwood Drive in Troy features a wood shop, metal shop, and a small retail showroom (showroom hours are 8-4, Monday-Friday by appointment). We have a selection of Live Edge wood slabs on hand, and we offer Live Edge finishing services to turn your perfect piece of wood into a finished piece. We've been 'wowing' our customers since 2014 and have garnered over 250 five-star reviews in the process. What can we make for you?

Turnaround time is 12 weeks or less for most projects. We service the Greater Detroit Area, Michigan, Ohio, and we deliver to the East and West Coast using Freight Delivery.
