I purchased a couch and chair a year ago from the Poughkeepsie store. The service was excellent and not at all pushy. We live on our couch, and after a year of wear, both pieces still look like new and the cushions are still in great shape!

Went to Millspaugh Furniture at the Poughkeepsie location looking for a new bedroom set. I fell in love with a headboard that had gorgeous knots and grain. I purchased the bedroom set based on the headboard they had advertised in the showroom setup. I paid over $8,000.00 for the set including a king size headboard. I was told they had to manufacture the headboard and would deliver the set after it was manufactured. It has been about eight months and I am still waiting for them to actually deliver what they sold me. They have delivered three different headboards that were nothing, and I mean nothing, like the one that they have advertised in the showroom. It is severely disappointing to me considering I purchased a whole bedroom set based on the looks of that specific headboard. I have contacted them numerous times and have heard every excuse from the boards do not look the same to the head board in the showroom is a queen and you asked for a king. I have gone out of my way all the way to their Warwick location to look at headboards which were once again nothing like the one I purchased to begin with. This has been an ongoing battle to get what I actually paid for. I feel that I should not have to put this much time and effort into actually receiving what I purchased. After the blame being passed from one person to another and even store to store, I finally spoke to the owner and still have had no results. I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!! It is ridiculous how they treat their paying customers!
