Don't buy from this company, National Home Store. In Nov 2021 my wife ordered a loft bed for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She was told it would take weeks to get to our house, So we explained this to our daughter. When my wife told me it was close to $1000 I was a bit surprised . When my wife placed the order, over the phone, she said it took days to get confirmation. When the bed finally arrived weeks later than expected, it didnt come with the stairs. She called and they gave her some excuse. So now my 10 year old waited months for her Christmas present, with no stairs for her loft bed. My wife assembled the bed. I went home to look at it and first thoughts were, you paid $1000 for this. She ordered unfinished to save a couple dollars. It still had the stamp on the 2x4 from lumber yard. Then I noticed it wasnt safe to get on top. They didnt put enough predrilled holes in boards, they also put the 2 holes at the very end of the board, which made it likely to never be stable. It wasnt safe for my 10 year old to sleep in. I purchased extra 2x4s and secured the bed enough for a 10 year old to sleep in. Weeks later the stairs/ steps arrived. It was a very heavy box full of wood. Which I thought odd since my wife told me she ordered steps. My 10 year old hauled every one of the boards up the stairs a couple at a time. When I went upstairs to assemble I noticed these werent the stairs I thought my wife said she purchased. After she saw them she said wrong stairs. She called guy on phone he said for her to look at her purchase , he said that is the box you checked. My wife explained, she purchased over the phone. He said they would look into it. A couple of weeks went by , she heard nothing. So she ask me to put the assemble the stairs. I went to video. Very first step was take the longest board and connect to existing loft. Board was too short. My wife thinks they sent stairs from a smaller loft. Now theyve wasted my time. So I got the number and called , I explained to the guy, about wrong stairs, again he said these were the ones you selected, again I told him, the operator selected the wrong ones. I explained we were going to assemble and use, but couldnt complete step 1 because of length of board. He said to send pics. So I emailed him the pics of the board being too short. A couple days passed and I didnt here anything. So I emailed them again from a different email account, just in case they didnt get it. My response was it was a long holiday weekend that they were behind , that they received my first email, and would contact us when they had time. 2-2.5 weeks later . nothing.
