Hello-- I placed an order back in september and have heard absolutely NOTHING about our order. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact the company and have had zero email response, and the phone likes aren't even connected. My order number is PC023800-- would love to actually hear back from someone for a change. May have to file a complaint with the attorney general's office as well. This is absurd. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

Ordered 12/22/15. They finally sent some items 3 months later after told 2 weeks, then told 6 weeks was supposed norm. No customer service....phones not answered after 30 minutes and they put you into voicemail. Filed online consumer complaint with Nebraska Attorney General yesterday and today got ahold of customer service rep where I filed online paperwork for refund of products that I have not received. They also sent 9 trays of something I ordered only 2. This business can't last long at this rate. Hopefully I'll see a refund on my credit card soon, but wondering whether I will.

We ordered 6 units for a total of $2,300 and paid 100% of the cost in advance. The order was placed in October 2015 we are now at the end of January 2016 and we still do not have our product. They claim that they cannot find the order or the payment. We have sent a copy of the canceled check but still no response. They have poor customer service and i believe that this company is pretty shady.
Update- we have discovered that the payment check was duplicated and modified by someone that had access to their deposits and cashed under a factious name.

I placed an order around November 20th, 2015 and had to contact customer service 10-15 times. The feedback I received consisted of not being able to find my order, to ordering the wrong items. Finally, in early Jan 2016 I tried to cancel the order. I have requested email confirmation on the cancellation as well as a refund several times and even sent an email and am still waiting for the credit. Individuals who answer the customer service line have placed me on hold for over an hour and never picked up again and have hung up on me. I have also called during business hours and no one ever picks up - this has happened 5-10 times. I would NOT recommend ordering from this company.

We placed an order for 3,000 worth of planters on 10/23/2015 with this company and have never received a confirmation or product. However, my credit card was charged the day of the order. There is no way to communicate with them in which they will reply. The charge is still on my card which I am working with my credit card company to dispute. Never in my 42 years in business have I come across such poor / non-existent customer service.
Update: The credit card company credited my account for the full amount and will pursue plant containers for reimbursement.

November 17, 2015: I just filed complaints against PlantContainers.com for falsely placing an order in my name and debiting my bank account for the order and then doing nothing to return my money to me despite multiple attempts in communicating and attempting to communicate with their customer service department.
November 18, 2015 Update #1: I still have not received a debit to my bank account for a purchase I never made. And, PlantContainers.com has not responded to my last communication to them.
I would never advise doing business with them. It is possible this company is an e-commerce scam.

Haven't been able to reach customer service for days. They don't answer phone calls or emails. Placed my order a while ago and still don't have my order number or confirmation email. They confirmed they received the payment and after that I haven't heard from them again. Either it's extremely inefficient customer service, or some kind of a scam. Not sure what to think.
Update 10/8/15. They were answering my calls for 3 days, and promised me every day that I will get my confirmation email by the end of the day. I never got any email. I was told some nonsense about some girl still doing my paperwork. It's always some other girl, not the one answering the phone, and the other girl is never in the office, and she will for sure email me my invoice by the end of the day, so the girl talking to me on the phone is always off the hook and can't help me. I got brushed off 3 times this way. My payment was processed over 2 weeks ago. Has that mysterious girl been working on creating that 1 page for 2 weeks? The order number should have been generated the moment my payment was processed and containers were ordered. No order number probably means that the planters were NOT ordered, and there's no way to know what happened with the money after it got cashed.
Now they don't answer my calls again.
Update 10-27-15. After numerous calls and faxed I got an email confirming my order. I was promised my order would ship by 10-22-15. Of course it was lies and it wasn't shipped. On 10-22-15 I was told on the phone that my order is going to ship...in two weeks. Seems to be the magical number, doesn't it? So now every two weeks I get promised that my order will ship in 2 weeks. Assuming they answer the phone, which is a big assumption. Im frustrated and wish I never ordered anything from them What a horrible, horrible company.
Update 11-9-15.
I spent 2 hrs on the phone being told by machine that Im the first person in the line. Then finally a woman answered and told me she is "just a person answering the phone" and can't give me any info about my shipping date. Now what is the purpose of having someone on the phone unless they can answer order related questions? Is she making fun of me or what? Then an accented man stepped in and asked me for my order number, then told me he "will go to his department" and call me back.
No doubt about that. I was promised several times last week that I will get an email confirming shipping date. It's the same thing every time: Im asked to give my contact info and order number, that is supposed to make me feel like I got some attention and achieved something, and they get rid of me for the day, then of course I don't get any email; and next day I call again, and they act like the previous conversation never happened, and they never admit that they promised me anything last time and act like it's the first time I contact them, and it happens all over again.
OMG. Im being fooled. First they were telling me "will ship within 14 days" stories, and now they just try to not answer my calls, and if they see I'm not going away and have to answer my call, they tell me some nonsense and then hang up on me.
Update 11-23-15.
Spent 40 mins on the phone waiting for someone to answer. The woman who answered told me she doesn't have any info about orders and can only take messages (deja vu?) Last time I was told my planters are "still in production". Mind you, after telling me twice that they are shipping within 2 weeks and once that they are shipping within one week. Again I was told they will contact me and give me update on my order. Of course they will not; they never do. Incompetent people on the phone and more stories and excuses. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
Update 12-17: Called once again. Took them a while to even find my order, I had to tell them order #, last name and even the list of planters, as if it was my responsibility and not theirs to keep track of my order. Then unsurprisingly, I was told my order will ship within 2 weeks. I think that's the 4th tome I hear this estimate. Order was placed in September. It's almost Christmas, and still no progress, just delays and broken promises.
Update 1-28: We finally received our order. We had to wait exactly 4 months. They juxtaposed two planters and put sub-irrigation in the wrong one. I'm too tired to make fuss about it, I'm just happy Im done with them and my money was not stolen. I never got any apologies for all the inconveniences they caused me. What a lousy company.

This has been one of the worst experiences in customer service ever. The products I ordered were supposed to arrive in 6 wks. It's now been 11 wks and I've been promised on multiple occasions updates which never arrived. The only information I've received is when I've called repeatedly. I was told that after a couple months I would receive the products direct from production to expedite the process. it's now a month later and still nothing. Finally I order would ship direct and I would receive a tracking number. That still has not happened and when I hung up on the service rep, who I presume to be the owner of the company, Rex Olson, I started getting harassed via text messages that I was rude! I have snap shots of these texts if anyone is interested is seeing a company dropping expletives to a personal cell phone of a paying customer who has never received the products ordered.

I placed an order with them on 8/7/15. Their website said a 2 week turnaround on orders. They charged my credit card on 8/10/15. It is now 9/24/15. I still do not have the merchandise. Repeated calls have left me with a different story each time. Sometimes their phones are down and you can't get through. Other times they answered and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me they would call back. They never did. An email I sent was never responded to. Not a trustworthy business. I am now disputing the charge and finding another vendor to purchase from. If I could do 0 stars I would.

We are disappointed to report that PlantContainers appears to be unable to service customers, communicate problems or act ethically. We placed a substantial order for a home-staging project on 5/29/15, paid the invoice and were told products would arrive within 2 weeks. It has been 4 months and 2/3rds of the products never arrived. After 2 months of no product we cancelled the order and requested a credit. To no avail. We have called and written PlantContainers more than 2 dozen times, written letters and emails for the credit of $x,xxx! This company may be an e-commerce scan. We are in discussion with our lawyer and will keep our Houzz friends posted.
