Tommy Howe Jr. of Aurora Hills Landscaping was hired as a subcontractor to landscape the yard around our retirement home. He failed to do what he said he'd do from the initial walk through and contract, did not honor his warranty on dead plants, did not know the Housing Association landscaping requirements, charged us for bushes that he did not plant, and did not submit the Landscaping Plan to the Architectural Review Board until after we closed on the house (unbeknownst to us until 2 months after we closed when the Board contacted us to say that the plan had failed and we needed to fix it). His work did not meet the Developmental standards and he tried to pass the cost of correcting the deficiencies on to us. I would not recommend his services- dishonest, unethical, and incompetent. He refused to talk with me to reconcile our issues.
