The only correct statement in this complaint is the date of the contract, closing date and the closet issue. All of this is coming from when Lynn Bueche called to express concern about the elevation of the lots in the new section of Brook Hollow, in which the last lot of the new phase is adjacent to her property. The Project Manager and myself met with Ms. Bueche to address the issue at hand. There was no issue found and Ms. Bueche was told that her assumptions of elevations were not accurate. Ms. Bueche was told that any wetness she might have noticed was due to an annual record rainfall and not related to anything that Elks Construction had done during construction of her house or the new phase of the neighborhood. Ms. Bueche did not like the answers she was given so she choose to take it to the next level, which was to contact the City of Greenville and express concern to them. This prompted a meeting with a respresentative from the City’s engineering office, Elks Construction, and the engineer that was handling the new phase of Brook Hollow. Ms. Boueche expressed her assumption of an elevation difference from her lot to the new lots. The City engineer, along with the engineer for the new phase, used a transit to shoot grades and elevations on Ms. Bueche; back yard, side yard, foundation, and finished floor height. It was determined that the new lots were lower than those elevations on Ms. Bueche’s property. This proved all Ms. Bueche’s assumptions to be incorrect, again. Elks Construction had to pay for the engineer’s time for this meeting. Now that Ms. Bueche’s assumptions have been incorrect and proven wrong on every business level she has choosen the media outlet to slander a well known and customer accommodating company with no true reasoning. Elks Construction strives to provide quality construction along with providing great customer service during and after the sale. We also stand behind our product, but in this case there is nothing to address.

As far as the molding that Ms. Bueche claims is missing, she repeatedly and uninvitedly walks through other houses in the neighborhood that we have under construction, compares them to hers, and notifies Elks Construction of any and every deviation. In most of the houses under construction, as like Ms. Bueche’s was in 2016, each customer customizes there home to their liking using the allowances as they choose. Ms. Bueche, like every other customer we build for, gets everything they pay for.

As far as the closet shelving, they did pull away from the walls. Ms. Bueche notified Elks Construction of this issue. Elks Construction corrected this issue in a timely manner.
