C.F. Olsen Homes

C.F. Olsen Homes built our new house in the Stoneridge subdivision in North Ogden. The site was one that they suggested and we have enjoyed every day since moving in. The same is true of our home where they were able to accommodate our every want in the detailing/customization of the house (e.g., heart shaped gable vents) , while keeping the cost affordable. The work was well over 90% right the first time and on budget and on time. My spouse, a former quality inspector,, was quite pleased throughout the project and afterwards; a remarkable accomplishment by any standard.

The building process with CF Olsen has been amazing. We had previously built 3 homes with different contractors and promised ourselves we would NEVER do it again. But after the glowing reviews we heard about CF Olsen Homes we decided to meet with Chris at CF Olsen and and give them a chance. Right from the start, we knew we made the right decision. Chris is so creative, dedicated, and involved. We had gone to another architect and had some rough plans designed. Chris looked at them for one minute and told us, “I’d be happy to build your home, but not this one.” He had a vision for our home that not only blew away the look of the existing design, but exceeded our wildest expectations. He is an extremely talented designer Chris was able to use his sophisticated software to make changes to our home design “on the fly” during our design review meetings and immediately show us the changes. This helped us truly know what we were going to get before we got it. Chris also uses a straight-forward approach with costs and budgets. There were no surprises during the build process. He was up front and honest throughout the entire process. He clearly lined out what our costs would be, itemized our budget allocation, and helped us stick to it along the way. These are all important things, but the best thing about CF Olsen is that they truly care. They wanted us, more than anything, to be happy with our dream home. He helped us create it. He saw things we could not see on our own. He led us down the path of a very challenging and custom home-build. We have recommended CF Olsen to all of our closest friends and family and give the highest endorsement of CF Olsen as a quality builder of custom homes.
