Chris and his crew were trusted with the lion’s share of a $125,000 kitchen reno where we merged two rooms to create a kitchen than ran from the front to the back of our house. This required lots of planning, coordination and communication and he never let us down. What we especially enjoyed was his calm demeanor and leadership even when we encountered hiccups that were unforeseen. His workmanship is top shelf and we plan to hire him again for future projects.

Our new home on the golf course has just been completed and we could not be happier with the entire experience and the final product. Chris and his team have exceeded our expectations. The workmanship and the quality were completed at the highest level. Chris and his entire team, including the subcontractors had one focus and that was for everything to be completed to our satisfaction. In addition, Chris’s follow-up and attention to detail was excellent and he made several good suggestions on items we had not considered. We were impressed with the regular updates and pictures regarding the progress of the home at each and every step.

My husband and I could not be happier with the work that Chris and his crew did in our kitchen. We had new floors put in, multiple walls taken down, new doors and windows (including moving the location of one window), plumbing and insertion of cabinets and countertops. Not a simple project! We went with recommendations from Chris on who to use for all our needs, and every single one of them was fantastic. From the first time we met Chris, he was able to take our ideas and create a space better than we could have ever imagined. He was open and honest about what would work and what wouldn’t. Throughout the project, he was very flexible with our busy schedule and any add-ons that we thought of on the way. His crew was always here early and stayed for at least 8 hours. Every day there was significant progress. Above all, Chris provided us with a quote after our first meeting. We worked together on a budget, and besides our own add-ons as the project started, the final quote was consistent with the original one. We never felt blindsided by a change in price. As a working family with 2 kids, this was extremely important to us. Without hesitation, we would love to work with Chris again on our next project and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for home renovations.

After our contractor retired in 2020, it took us two years to find a reputable and talented craftsman. We finally found CJW Custom Home Renovations through the recommendation of a friend. We consulted with Chris and were impressed with his responsive communications, attention to detail, and industry knowledge. We contracted with Chris to rebuild a fireplace surround in our post and beam great room complete with a stone bench and floor, metal wood storage box, and complementary lighting. Chris is an expert craftsman. He was responsive and timely in all communications. Throughout the reconstruction project he and his crew kept the space impeccably clean. Upon completion of this project, we retained Chris to build an outdoor pergola. A third project (bathrooms) is in the planning stage. Chris is easy to work with and very accommodating. We have used Chris Weiler for at least 10 years. He has replaced our kitchen and designed and replaced our main bathroom. We find Chris' work to be impeccable. He is as trustworthy as they come. When he says he is going to do something or arrive at a certain date/time, you can set your watch. Chris is a perfectionist and offered us some great advice. Even after the project was completed, Chris came back to replace a piece that had failed due to a manufacturer's defect. If we were to do another project in our home, Chris would be the person, the only person, we would call to get the job done.
