Express came in and rescued us from a project that was threatening to go way overbudget with a design & build firm. They worked closely with us to control cost and really overdelivered. We got way more done than we thought we could on our budget. And they did phenomenal work! We're so thrilled with the result. Communication throughout was an especially high strong point for Express. Their use of online tools for easy back-and-forth really set them apart. I've recommended them to many friends and peers. I think they're truly great!

Wagner and his team are very professional and responsive. They are understanding of your needs as a client and do their best within reason to meet your needs/expectations. They were always quick to get back to us regarding any questions or issues and they were always communicative along the way for their project. Our new bathroom looks great and serves the purpose we needed it for (early childhood learning). They were also very efficient with working with the city licensors etc to get the project completed quickly before we reopened the school for the fall.

Such a pleasant, skilled, and professional group of people to work with. We had major renovations done recently and could not be happier with the results. We had a tight timeline for the project because we had to move out and get a four month apartment lease, and there was no where to go after. Express committed to a timeline set very early in the project and they kept it. They are accessible and responsive to any questions or issues that arise, usually on the same day. As is common on renovations, we made some changes/additions on the fly and they always accommodated us and even offered advice when we were having trouble deciding on tile, cabinets etc. The construction crew is friendly and good at what they do. They came in on budget and on time (actually earlier by a few weeks). I know it’s scary when you are taking that renovation step but Express will walk you through it and get you to the other side as painlessly as possible. Our house looks great and we are glad we chose them. All of our neighbors were asking us who we used because they were always onsite and on time. I would recommend Express to anyone considering a remodel. We got a brand new kitchen, deck, conversion of spare bedroom to a master bath, and finished attic.

This was a complete kitchen remodel, down to the studs, with some extra wrinkles. (Removing a chimney and part of a wall.) Express worked with me to nail down the exact plan, and then handled the whole job. It went great, and exactly on time. Ten weeks, no delays, all the inspections handled when needed. My friends did not believe Express's time estimate when I mentioned it, but it got done. The cost was also on estimate, except for changes which I requested, discussed, and approved individually with Express. The crew kept everything clean, did not disrupt my work-at-home life, and handled every detail. Even my fussy little requests about shelf brackets. (They didn't charge extra for the little stuff, either.) This is my second time working with Express, and I'm sure I'll come back to them.

We hired Wagner and Express for a to the studs renovation of our two-family home and it is an understatement to say that we are thrilled with the results. The project entailed lowering the basement floor and underpinning the foundation, expanding the ground floor living space, all new plumbing and electrical, insulation, re-framing the entire house, vaulting the top floor ceilings, hardwood floors, 2 new kitchens, 5 new bathrooms, mudroom with built-ins, and laundry room. On the exterior - new front entry, new roof (including removing up to 6 layers of old shingle) and siding. Express also managed the replacement our asphalt driveway with semi-permeable pavers, new back patio and walkways, stone veneer on our ground floor addition, a beautiful stone wall in the backyard, new sod and irrigation in the front. There was literally no stone left unturned in this project. The results are stunning, but that is actually not what impressed us the most about Express. It was their ability to meet and surpass every challenge our cantankerous 100 year-old house threw at them. Our house had structural issues and some rot, which did not phase Express They managed to reframe our entire first and second floors while still supporting the roof. We likened the process to replacing the contents of an egg through a pinhole in the side. There were also challenges with ledge rock and lowering the ground floor, plumbing and ducting and entirely open first floor replacing some exterior walls. We essentially have a new construction home. Express figured out a solution for every issue and kept us looped into the process. We also really appreciated the impact of Express’ project manager Cristina, who has amazing attention to detail. Express also stuck to their timelines. The entire project was finished in just shy of 1 year, and would have been done a couple of months earlier if not for supply- chain delays with windows and kitchen cabinets. Finally, we wanted to add that this is the third time we hired Express. When we first bought the house 13 years ago we hired Wagner to do some renovations just to make the house livable. The upstairs electrical was connected by extension cords and the house had been neglected for years. Express worked closely with us and helped do as much as we could within our budget. They were a fledgling company at the time and we are so happy to see 13 years later that Express has grown to the enterprise it is today. This is a testament to the dedication, integrity, and broad expertise of Wagner and the entire Express team. Attached a few before and after photos of the project which were among the hundreds of photos that were taken by Express in documenting the process. That was another component of the project that we really appreciated, seeing the day to day progress towards the completion of our dream home.

Our bathroom remodel came out more beautiful than we imagined! The estimate was fair, well thought out and clearly outlined. No time was wasted obtaining permits to start or scheduling them as the work progressed. Each crew sent (demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, tiling and painting) was professional, experienced and polite. Response to communication was quick. Wagner and his staff at Express Remodeling - Cristina and Samantha - really put their hearts into what they are doing!!! I highly recommend!

We started discussions with Wagner and Express Remodeling in 2020. Due to COVID and delays in getting appliances, the work didn't start until January 22. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of Wagner and staff and couldn't be happier with the results. Express Remodeling delivered the kitchen of our dreams and held the original quoted amount, despite of materials cost going through the roof during this time. Express Remodeling did a kitchen expansion and more project for my family in the summer of 2020. Wagner and his team had previously done a basement finishing and kitchen renovation at our old house. All of these projects with Express were a dream. We used another contract on a project in between and regretted it. My family has worked with Express for two large projects over the last 18 months. The first was a full kitchen and dining area remodel and the second was a large outdoor patio and deck. Both experiences were better than I could have imagined. They were Priced fairly, the budget was adhered too and, perhaps most importantly, the communication between nthe Express Team and my busy family was excellent! I thoroughly enjoy working with Express Remodeling Group. In the past year I have worked with Express on several projects as I upgraded a two-family property I own. The projects included demolishing and replacing a rear deck with two levels, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, tiling, drywalling, painting, laminate floor installation, replacement of exterior doors, electrical, stucco repair, and safety improvement to stairs. In all projects, Express Remodeling was well organized, worked to make sure we were aligned on expectations for both the work to be done and the timeline, and excellent with communication. Wagner and his team at Express Remodeling did a complete rip and replace of my old kitchen originally built in 1927. The job included all new electrical, plumbing, a 5 foot bump out and a new deck. Express really stood out from the others in the following areas a) reliability - Wagner did exactly what he said he would do from the initial estimate, materials, handling change orders, scheduling. He also did a good job setting realistic expectations. Cristina, the office manager didn't miss a beat and managed all the change orders perfectly and provided regular status updates and communication which I appreciated. b) hard working – his team didn’t mess around; they got in, did the work well and got out. c) respectful – I was impressed with how they cleaned up regularly and kept the space relatively clean while protecting my living area. They also cleaned and tidied the outdoor space almost daily d) customer service (the most important for me) - any issue that cropped up, they didn’t rest until I was satisfied. I would definitely call Express again.

We needed real closets in our Master Bedroom, the two we had were not even deep enough for a hanger... so we had clothes hung in there sideways. Even though Express needed to move a wall, the job was reasonably priced and we now have a 12 foot wide storage area with floor to 10 foot ceiling storage! The lights click on when you open the door, so easy to use.

Express Remodeling Group renovated 3 bathrooms and installed new windows in our home. They did an excellent job for all these projects. I would definitely hire them again.

We live on the first floor of a 100+ year old 3 family house. We interviewed several contractors before having our bathroom gutted and renovated and we're delighted we went with Express Remodeling. Wagner and his crew were fantastic! They are totally professional and honest. They listen well, ask the right questions and do superb work. Because it's an old house, several plumbing and electrical problems were discovered. They clearly explained each situation, the possible solutions and their recommendation. After finishing our bathroom, we decided to see if they could help with an odd shaped (basically useless) closet in one of our bedrooms we were turning into a study. They completely redesigned 2 closets and the entire room. There is now more space than I could have imagined. They also were terrific repairing several isolated things in our home like a cracked kitchen wall, a ceiling that had water damage from floor above. Also, they repaired the 3 porches which had started to pull away from the house. We highly recommend Express Remodeling Group!

Excellent work! We need a complete porch rebuild, plus assorted trim and door work around the rest of the house. They did everything we asked and painted it all to match the original trim. Speedy, solid, and it all looks great.

We worked with Express twice, once for a kitchen/bath remodel and again for an outside deck. Their combination of quality, price, and speed was incredible. Owner is always willing to talk through options, answer questions, and not get annoyed at us! So friendly.

As a professional I’ve worked with Wagner before and we decided to hire him to build our 2-car garage and master suite on a tight budget. Construction took 3.5 months and we are very happy with everything. We were able to express our concerns to Wagner at anytime, reach him as needed and getting cost options from him. All of his subs and site workers were super nice and careful during entire covid time construction. At the end of each day, site was cleaned perfectly. All of our neighbors were and still are impressed. I could trust Wagner on many points and that is what mattered. He’ll be on your side and do his best.

Very professional crew. Excellent work. The work was done as planned and on time. Wagner worked closely with us to achieve our goals. When one part of the addition and renovation came in under budget, the difference was deducted from our total!!

Express completed our amazing sunroom-addition, with a full foundation. Throughout the project it was a pleasure to work with Wagner and his team. They are thoughtful, nice, clean, and careful workers. Even with plans, some changes are expected, but Express was always happy to listen and verify any of my concerns and questions.
