Pros: Alex Florea showed up for a preliminary quotation meeting when he said he would, and had a quotation in my hands 24 hours later. Even though the work (repairing a series of cracked window frames, door frames, and crown moldings, repairing a water damaged ceiling, and some other general repairs) took one day longer than expected, he stuck to his original quotation. The ultimate finished product was very good. Cons: The workers were nice and friendly but required a little bit too much supervision. They were not proactive about covering furniture and equipment before demolition. This required extra clean-up that was ultimately done well, but would have not been necessary had the area been prepped appropriately.

We hired Gestion Warwick to redo our brick wall. Their price was very competitive and Alex took care of the whole permit request which is quite painful in Westmount. He was always very responsive and addressed issues each time they came up. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality of the work and Alex's management of the project

We have never had such a bad experience with a contractor. The workmanship was sub-par, and Alex told us what we wanted to hear, not what he could deliver. He broke his word more than once.

Mrs. Finch did reach out to our company and ask us to help with the remodel of her NDG backyard. We completed drawings, had a full programming meeting and produced most of the construction of the new backyard between October 24th and December 12th. While I agree with Susan that the project was taking longer than we desired, we did produce work for her and could have made changes based on her input had the workmanship been "sub-par".

The termination of our agreement was not something that we asked for. After receiving several complaints from Susan about the speed with which the project was progressing her husband reached out to us and advised that Susan was so upset with our performance that she would like to terminate our agreement. So, while we did send an email telling her that the project was terminated and she only owed us money for the fully delivered elements, we did not simply tell her we would no longer complete the finishing touches…this was per their request.

I certainly appreciate that Susan is disappointed with the outcome of her project. We are as well. We strive to create happy clients who love their homes and I believe that the clear majority of our clients do love the homes we design and build for them. This can be seen from our past project and happy clients we have worked with throughout the last couple of years. We wish Susan and her family the best and hope they are able to create a backyard they truly love.

We needed to completely redo our second bathroom and I interviewed several contractors. Alex told the truth. He and his guys accomplished my tiling vision for the shower, which was no easy feat, basically like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. He was present throughout. He was solicitous. And he was meticulous.

Professional service from Alex Florea. Calm and patient, good understanding of clientele, always available in person or phone, impeccable clean-up. Only issue is that some of the painters he contracted, although very polite, did not have enough experience for the standard of work required. Some of it had to be redone. But on balance, I would probably hire Warwick again.
