Gotham Construction Group located in Pelham, NY was such a disappointment! We hired Gotham to remodel our upstairs bathroom, a small bathroom. The job started on January 31st and ended April because of their mistakes. Andy the owner is a nice man but is absent from the project unless you ask to see him or speak with him. This created a problem because the man he had working in my home needed constant supervision. The Perez brothers who work for Andy were untrustworthy and had little respect for my home. Alfredo and Arturo Perez came unprepared and left trash throughout my garage and upstairs of my home. We have cameras throughout my home and would see Arturo sitting on tile in our bathroom talking on the phone and watching videos throughout the day. Andy's plumber and electrician are AMAZING! I can,t say enough about how AMAZING they are and will definitely use them again and again! The problem lies with the lack of support and supervision given or not given to these jokers, the Perez brothers. They were supposed to demo the whole bathroom and didn't, it was pointed out to me that they didn't pull up the other floor or put new sheet rock throughout the bathroom. I would have never known and wonder how many people they have done this too. That delayed the job because they had to do the right thing and replace the old floor and sheet rock as we paid for and expected. They had trash, saws, and other objects in my garage and left saws on my husband's new motorcycle leaving scratches on the fenders and marks on the tire. They left empty water bottles throughout the upstairs and garage. My all time favorite was the cigarettes put out in my lawn, flowerbeds and around the Blessed Mother. Another favorite is how they didn't install the shower door correctly and it looked like it was crying black tears. Did I mention they did not silicone/cork or whatever the top of the shower tile between the tile and the ceiling. If that's not enough, I purchased 5 new doors to be installed and one of the doors fell off the hinge. Andy the owner had to hire another guy and his crew to reinstall the shower door, seal the tile between the ceiling and reinstall all the doors I purchased. The worst part is I was charging a camera in my bedroom while they were working upstairs or lack of working and Arturo was at my husband's nightstand looking at his stuff, charging his phone and leaning on my bed while the guy he was working with was checking himself out/dancing in my closet mirror. Andy did say he was sorry and I bet he was since he had to pay someone else to correct the many errors left in my home but told me these guys were nice guys and didn't think this was any big deal. I am thankful to have them out of my home and for the wonderful plumber, electrician and new contractor he sent to me. They have been fabulous! Otherwise Gotham Construction in Pelham NY has been a nightmare!
