Shawn Hawkes got his start in carpentry early on in life, shadowing his uncles in the family business at the early age of 12. As he grew and learned more he was given more and more opportunity to develop his craft before enlisting in the US Marine Corps. After coming home from active duty, Shawn picked back up his hammer and continued to work with his family overseeing jobs and running crews as the company foreman. By the age of 25, Shawn was branching out on his own and officially had his own business in 2004. Shawn has done everything from single door repairs, to full house remodels and new construction. He continues to refine his craft and learn new methods of building that fit each job individually. Shawn and his team take on each new client as an individual, and as family. He works with the client one on one until the job is complete, listening to every concern and making sure the customer is completely satisfied. He does not leave until the job is done. No job is too small, or too difficult. Having many years experience remodeling historical homes in New England, he has come up with creative and safe ways of fixing and repairing homes that aren’t cookie cutter. Once customers find HBR, they stick with Shawn and many refuse to use other contractors. They understand that the time and patience and care put into their homes, is unparalleled when it comes to the construction business. Clients are not just a number, they are family.
