Island Floors and Remodeling

I've used David Lee on my own personal home as well as on many of my investment properties and he has always been more than fair, reasonably priced and great to work with. He also has a great design eye component that really helps when trying to make decisions. I recommend him because of his reliability and attention to detail.

We underwent a complete cottage renovation and expansion in the 2012-2013 timeframe. Though David Lee has great vision, his teams execution was horrible and there was very little oversight on the project details. Corners were cut at every opportunity, and we have spent almost 1/2 of what we paid him correcting things that were not done properly. Tile work, painting were the least of it; we had to have an entire exterior wall torn down and rebuilt due to shoddy work that allowed water penetration and caused wood rot. We had to have a crawl-space encapsulation system installed because of a last-minute design change to slab from pier and beam that allowed water to collect under the house, warping all of our hardwood floors. The most recent is an arbor that is attached to the house that is rotting and needs to be completely removed and rebuilt. Our experience with Davie Lee and his team continues to haunt us and has been the most frustrating and hugely expensive project of our lives. I would absolutely NOT recommend David Lee to do any type of work on your house.

I would highly recommend David Lee to anyone. He is responsive and very helpful plus his prices are very reasonable. He is a contractor that I trust after working with him. His whole family gets involved if needed. They do what it takes to get it done and live up to the promises they make you.
