Jamie's Kitchen is the best. This is the second whole-house remodeling projects we did with JR; one for my son's home and the other mine. Initially, my wife and i have some fears on the project as we don't have any experience with home design but JR guide us confidently throughout the project with great ideas and recommendations. He is very patient, helpful and fast response to all our needs. Most importantly, the complete renovation takes about a few months and JR update us on the status each week. In addition, he directs you to wholesale companies to acquire appliances, faucets, and any components for better discounts and pricing. His team of professionals delivered high quality of work. I will definitely use Jamie's Kitchen and Bath for any future renovation!

During the pandemic, we decided to proceed with an ADU that we had wanted now for several years. After our consultation with JR, we hired an architect and proceeded with plans and permitting. The process from the start to completion couldn't have gone any smoother. As the ADU was part of a multi-unit property that included trenching into one of our tenant's yard, communication was key to ensure that the tenant was inconvenienced as little as possible while also making sure that their dog was still able to access and play in his yard. JR and his team was able to work with the tenant and work around their schedule as everyone was also working from home during this time. Due to the small space of the ADU, JR's eye for design and understanding of functionality provided better kitchen layout to allow future tenants to better utilize the space. Lastly, with the pandemic and the delays with inspection, we were very worried that the project would be longer that anticipated. Not only did we finish 1 month earlier than we had anticipated, he stayed within the budget he originally quoted us which was very hard at the time with increasing material costs. We are very happy with the ADU and look forward to working with JR and his team again in the future.

We were looking for a contractor to build an ADU. After getting a few quotes I was directed to Jamie’s Kitchen and Bath. Jamie’s Kitchen and Bath is a great company. Construction was fast. They executed the plans perfectly and when inspections were done by the city, there was never any need to fix anything. All inspections were completed successfully. The city inspector was particularly impressed and commented that my contractor was very good. Jamie’s Kitchen and Bath laid out a plan and schedule and communicated the execution of both to me regularly. Questions were answered quickly and expertly even when outside of regular hours. I recommend them to everyone and will be a repeat customer!

In November 2022, having hired Jamie's Kitchen & Bath in the past to perform a complete renovation of our large kitchen in a 100-year-old Spanish Colonial residence, followed in later years by the compete renovation of two bathrooms, we moved into a smaller home. Again we reached out to the company, this time to completely renovate an addition to the house that was used as an office into a bedroom with a half-bath. Across all three projects, JR Mariano and his trades completed the work on time, below budget, with utmost courtesy, and well beyond our expectations in terms of the quality. At our former home, the kitchen and bathrooms blended perfectly with the Spanish Colonial aesthetic. The new bedroom constructed in our current house, which was gutted to the studs by the previous owner and beautifully renovated, perfectly complements the design. We've owned several houses and always had problems with quality and service. The contrast with Jamie's Kitchen & Bath is startling.

We have been working with Jamie's Kitchen and Bath since 2013. They did our kitchen renovation then. We were so happy with their work and professionalism that we hired them again to do our downstairs flooring and main bathroom. JR, the owner listened to our ideas, wants and concerns. I've worked with Jamie's kitchen on a multi school remodeling project recently. They were super flexible when we needed to make some last minute design changes. They were hands-on in helping us through the entire process which was quite complex. This is the fourth project we have worked on together but the first time I have written a review. On the previous residential projects we had an amazing experience working with their design and install team. Materials used were top notch and install was relatively quick and on time. We are very happy and will continue to work with Jamie's in the future.

They are the best when it comes to remodel, additions, etc. This is not the first time I used them and will definitely not be my last time. JR came and did an excellent job in my project. I needed a pool to be demolished, garage to be demolished and rebuilt, complete renovation and addition to my property. The project was completed on schedule as promised. You know he is good when the city inspector requested his business card to refer to his other inspections. The project site was kept clean with no complaints from our neighbors. In terms of the workmanship, it was excellent. His design with lighting, color, and overall design and layout were exactly to our liking. Communications were also excellent. We have weekly on-site meetings to discuss what was done and what the plan is for the upcoming week. We were well informed with the status of our project. He was also very accommodating to our last minute changes. He is not just a great contractor, but a great designer.

We feel so blessed to work with JR Mariano for our ADU construction in Monrovia. It has been our dream of building an ADU in our property for 10+ years and we have heard so many stories about different experiences family members and friends have had with their contractors. From the moment we reached out to Jamie’s Kitchen for an estimate to the final days of our kitchen remodel, they were nothing short of professional and responsive. A dear friend of ours who recently worked with JR from Jamie’s Kitchen and Bath, highly recommended him for our single family home remodel. After talking to several other contractors, we found JR to be the most responsive and had many word of mouth recommendations. After checking out a couple of his finished works, we finally decided go with him for our project. From day 1, we have been very pleased with the service he and his team have provided. He made sure he understood what we wanted and worked within our budget without sacrificing quality. He was at the project site daily and sent me photos everyday of the progress that was made. He communicated with us everyday and made us aware of what the expectations were for the day or week. They made sure that they left the place clean at the end of everyday. He was very patient and very accommodating even when we made changes to the initial design and made other requests. The quality of the work was excellent! He also only used durable and high quality materials and the price he charged was very reasonable. These days, it is not easy to find a contractor that you can trust, who values customer service, quality of work and who will not nickel and dime you. But we found all of these and more with JR and his team at Jamie’s Kitchen and Bath.

Worked with JR on what was to be a short-lived project that ended up being more than a year. Unfortunately, we parted ways mid-project. There was a gap in leadership between the contractor and subs that led to substandard results. Wall tile was laid improperly and settled unevenly, and had to be demolished and reinstalled by another contractor. Water valves leaked and were installed incorrectly with cold and hot in the wrong locations. Floor tile was laid unevenly so that the seams did not line up with the walls. On more than one occasion, the workspace was left a mess between visits. They cut tile in the garage that made an incredible mess with massive dust that went inside the washer and dryer and required service. All in all, JR is nice guy and initially was well intended, but not sure premium installations are his sweet spot.

Trust me, they are the BEST. We had master bathroom & kitchen remodel with JR and his team and by far the most skilled, respectful, clean and trustworthy general contractor in LA. I worked with many other contractors for our property and the experiences with all of them were always near nightmare after spending so much money. On the other hand, JR, Angel, Junior, Catriona and all other people from Jamie's Kitchen & Bath are so patient, detail oriented and kind. The price is unbeatable. JR got a great taste in design, style and trend if you ask him opinion. He also has really good merchant networks that you can purchase with discounted price like tiles, appliances and so many more. Don't look further. Just go with them and you will not regret.

Excellent, exceptional and impeccable! We are beyond grateful that we got J.R. Mariano and his team (Jamie's Kitchen & Bath) to work on our main ADU and junior ADU constructions after a very thorough research and after getting quotes from five construction companies. Yes, we did our due diligence of course coupled with lots of prayers for guidance and wisdom. We hoped for a hustle-free and stress-free process on our ADU projects since we have very busy work schedules. Jamie's Kitchen & Bath did not disappoint. One of the best decisions of our life indeed! J.R. Mariano is a man of integrity and character. He is very hard working, honest, professional, and detail-oriented which we really like. We super love the quality of his work and his suggestions are all brilliant. All our inspections passed with flying colors despite how strict and detailed the inspectors are in our city. I would like to note as well that while our projects are still on-going, my neighbors, friends, and other extended families (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.) have chosen Jamie's Kitchen & Bath for their projects as well. Some of them have bad experiences in the past from other companies or other contractors who couldn’t finish the project or who didn’t meet their expectations or who deceived and cheated them in different ways. Though their projects are still in the works currently with J.R., they are giving us feedback that they are already impressed with him and his team. They are speaking very highly of him and are excited for the outcome of their current projects. We are not surprised. In a heart beat we would recommend J.R. Mariano and his team. They exceeded our expectations. At the end of the day, we did not only meet a very good contractor whose work ethics is admirable, but we gain a good friend whom we now consider a family. Being first time homeowners, the process seemed intimidating at first, but JR communicated fully with us every step of the way, and helped us navigate complicated design and fixture choices. JR and team did an amazing job with our complete remodel of our kitchen and primary bath! I had been thinking about remodeling for some time but never had the confidence in a contractor to move forward. From our initial consultation, I knew JR understood my vision but I still had my reservations due to many friends and family having bad experiences. But JR was great through the planning and design process, then gave an honest and fair bid and we were on our way! We were particular about the details and we had a few changes along the way but JR was always patient, accommodating and was still able to complete the work within the quote timeframe (amazing!). Throughout the project, he made sure we were happy with the work being done, every step of the way. Getting quotes for remodels can be a stressful process. Seeing eye to eye on how you want the design to be done can be challenging and stressful as well. Throw in sub contractors coming to your house everyday and you might as well guarantee that life during the remodel will definitely change. However, JR's attention to our style, needs, and wants made this all the more positive. Including that, his quote was honest and fair. He was able to bring out my wife's ideas to fruition. On top of all that, the crews that he brought into our home for the duration of 2 months were hard working, honest, and generally nice people. Although there were some minor hiccups, as this is common when you are doing as much work as we did, JR was able to relieve that stress through his prompt communication and immediate remedy to fix the issue. Overall, JR puts his full effort and is ALL in to please his customers. His advice on the design of our remodel from suggested paint colors to types of tiles were stellar. Daily communication and reliability were definitely exhibited. We knew what to expect because the plan was always shared daily and executed. The schedule of completion was right on target as predicted from day one. I've heard horror stories from friends when they did remodel work at their home, and I can truly say that there are no serious horror stories to report here. I have had the pleasure of having two projects completed by Jamie's Kitchen and Bath. The first was a gutting of our entire kitchen, floor to ceiling. Everyone who comes into our house remarks on the kitchen. It is both beautiful and extremely practical. Last year, J. R. helped me partially remodel and renew the Master Bathroom. Not as many of our guests see this area, but those who have are wowed. J.R. has an encyclopedic knowledge of the materials available and an eye for what will work well in a space. His electricians, painters, plumbers, stoneworkers and especially his cabinetmakers are all experts in their fields and without exception focused on making their part of the project measure up to what J.R. and the customer consider Excellence. J. R. also happily works within the customers' s sense of style and color, while recommending practical and stylist options. I have used Jamies cabinets in the past and have always been very pleased with his work. I called JR late in 2021 to replace my kitchen countertops. JR walked me through the entire process and always makes great suggestions. I picked out the quartz countertop I wanted. JR coordinated his team to come out and demo the current counter tops, keeping the existing back splash and install the new counter tops. His team demo the old countertops without breaking any of the existing back splash and installed the new counter tops all in 1 day. His team shows up on time, are respectful, clean up after themselves and JR was in constant contact with me throughout the process. I would not hesitate to recommend Jamies Kitchen & Bath for any project.

This is our first project with JR and his team and certainly won't be the last. We employed JR and his team to remodel our newly purchased 1500 sq ft. condominium and they worked professionally and diligently throughout the entire process. If you are shopping for a licensed, insured and reasonably priced contractor read this. We hired Jamie’s Kitchen and bath to remodel our small town home kitchen. It is our first big remodel. It is important to have a contractor that was honest, responsive, stuck to the budget and did quality work. We talked to couple of contractors and came across Jamie’s Kitchen and bath based on internet reviews. This was a small project. So we were not sure if we will find a good contractor ready to do our remodel. But when I approached Jamie’s, JR( contractor) was ready to do it. They charge a small fee to do on-site consultation and then provide a 3D design. If you decide to go with Jamie’s, design fee is waived. After design was agreed on, we made visit to the showroom which has impressive display of materials and model Kitchens. We picked out for materials. Jean(designer) was very helpful and patient in making suggestions while we picked out materials. JR listened carefully to what our goal was, what our needs was and what our budget was. He had great ideas about how to reconfigure and best utilize my existing space. The contract was well laid out in detail. JR walked us through the process and the plan and gave us timelines. We had also requested to pull permit and he worked with Pasadena City to pull permit and made sure each inspection visit went well. The project started on scheduled date and time. Throughout the remodel, JR was there everyday and ensured everything turned out the way we wanted. We also had a handyman list of items that we wanted taken care of. JR looked at the list and took care of it quickly. All his staff was very professional and cleaned up everyday. From the onset of design, to the installation, to the price, schedule and quality Jamie’s Kitchen and bath did not disappoint! We were amazed how smoothly the process went. Living in a home during renovation is not easy, especially with two little kids. JR made it as much painless as possible. We are very happy with the way the kitchen has been transformed!! My project was a small bathroom remodel project with uncertainty that I would be able to find a contractor interested in taking on this small job. A couple of contractors came, measured and provided pricing that included all materials not yet selected from their suppliers. At Jamie's Kitchen and Bath, was surprised to learn the company has an in-house designer who gathered information, discussed style scheme with attention to conforming with the style of the house, and a preliminary rendering. Next, a visit to their showroom to select materials before finalizing pricing. Comparatively, Jamie's K&B pricing were lower than the bids from the two other contractors. Also, had a feeling of confidence for Jamie's K&B that I did not have with the other two contractors. So very happy with the professional and high quality workmanship with the team at Jamie's K&B. The owner JR was hands-on throughout the entire process with daily check-ins on the work and updating me on what's next with clear explanations and expectations . JR has an eagle eye in suggesting slight changes regarding placements and on-site improvements based on what the site actually presented after the demo process. The fabricators, the installers, and trade specialists were exceptional, working diligently and left no mess when done. I highly recommend Jamie's Kitchen and Bath. Their attentiveness, attention to details, always staying on top of the work in progress, and communicating every step of the way are refreshing attributes not often heard of most contractors except JR and his team, including office designers, at Jamie's Kitchen and Bath.

JR and Jamie's Kitchen Cabinets team have worked on our projects for several years including our personal home. Their professionalism and knowledge of the latest trends, materials, and best practices have continued to help keep all our projects looking amazing. The last project JR and his team did for me was 3 bungalows with full renovations going at the same time. With my busy schedule, their constant communication and ability to keep projects on time and on budget helps me focus on the things I need to while knowing his team is busy with my remodel.

This is our second project with Jamie's. We remodeled our townhouse 6 years ago (still looks fantastic) and just finished our 3000 sqft total remodel. 4.5 baths, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, everything, you name it. We didn't waste money on a designer, because Jamie's brings the whole thing together for you in house. Given this project was much larger, we had our concerns about the timeline being met (in before christmas) and he has to be the first contractor that actually got done ahead of time. I can't stress enough how great they are to work with and the price was lower than their competitors! JR takes every job personally and onsite doing a lot of the work himself to make sure it is done to his high (which are higher than the client's) standards. Remodeled kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and all new porcelain wood style flooring throughout the house. Expressed my vision to JR, between his team and himself within a week had a proposal ready to show. He was diligent in all aspects of the remodel. My elder parents survived through the process. JR and his team did a full renovation of our kitchen and we are absolutely impressed with the professionalism and quality of work we received. JR and his guys just finished remodeling my whole house. JR, acting as my contractor and designer, literally transformed my extremely outdated and poorly built 1987 tract home to a beautiful home that is the envy of my neighborhood. The work was extensive: removing popcorn ceilings and painting, converting 2 tubs to walk-in showers, enlarging the master bath shower and putting in a stand-alone tub, putting in wood floors, changing all the doors, putting a closet in the bonus room, and you should see my kitchen! I can go on and on, but I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. All that work only took 9 weeks. My family was living in the house during the whole remodeling. JR is incredibly competent and organized. He met with us each Saturday for updates, and I just communicated with him with texts and pictures if needed. If there were any issues, and there were very few and minor, he would always say, " don't worry, I will take care of it", and he did. If you have a remodeling project, and they are busy at the moment, please wait for them if you can. You will not regret it. Thanks JR and friends for the amazing work!

JR, Anna, and the staff at Jamie's Kitchen and Bath were tremendous from the initial consultation through the closeout of the project. From the beginning, the staff was prompt and professional answering any and all questions and ensured I was informed throughout the process. The project adhered to a strict schedule and budget that was agreed upon before construction began. Jamie's crews are highly-skilled constant professionals that ensured the work was completed to my high standards. Their work is exemplified in the details. Ultimately, Jamie's incorporated my conceptual design ideas and turned it into my dream kitchen.

It was a great and enjoyable experience with JR and his team. I had a clear vision about how I want to remodel our bathroom. But it was really hard to find a right contractor to execute this vision. I interviewed several contractors. But, they all somehow tried to discourage my ideas. I was so frustrated because nobody was helpful at all. That is when I met JR. When I showed him a photo of bathroom showing the image I liked, he immediately said, "Let's make this bathroom! I like it! Beautiful!!" I was so happy when I heard this, because nobody was so enthusiastic about making effort to make what I wanted. When I was wondering where I can find the tiles I wanted to use, he just said, "Send the photo of the tile to Anna (his assistant; she was very helpful too!!). We can find that for you." Everything was just like this. I just had to show him what I wanted, then he did the rest of the work. He said to me after everything is done, "Yuko, you did a good job! You designed this, and I just executed it." Yes, It is probably true. I had a vision, then JR helped me to design the details by giving me advice from professional experience and insights, and beautifully executed the design using his people. I truly think we were a good team. The construction skills JR had were excellent, but what I liked the most about him was his honesty, professionalism, and easiness to talk to. There are not so many contractors you can truly trust. JR is the one. JR, thank you very very much!! I really like my new bathroom (and everyone who sees the bathroom says, "Wow!! Beautiful!!"). Its been 2 years since our kitchen remodel with JR and his team and we're just as happy now as we were then. Maybe the most professional and high quality group of people we've ever hired. Earlier this year, my Family and I finally mustered up the courage to go forward with updating our kitchen and bathrooms. We decided to check out a small Family owned business in our own city. The establishment is Jamie's Kitchen Cabinet's. After a conversation with the owner / lead designer JR, we knew that we had a gem. We found JR to be honest, knowledgeable, confident, and passionate about his work. We wanted his company for our remodeling project. We told him what our vision of the new kitchen and bathrooms were, He carefully listened and made an appointment to see the site for measurements. A few days later, we were asked to come to the showroom and to view his CAD drawings. The layouts were smart, efficient, warm and modern. We discussed materials, timelines, and budget. JR presented many new ideas to us for our consideration. JR's final project proposal was brilliant and the budget was reasonable for us. JR, Anna, and Jamie's team were quick to get our project started. I am impressed with the team's organization, professionalism, courtesy and speed of communication. A time line was set up for my home's demolition and the installation of floor tiles, plumbing, lights, stone, cabinet's, backsplash, window's and doors. Payments were prescheduled and coordinated with the completion of specific phases. JR was always very generous in his advice and in helping us to get the best prices on items that we chose to purchase for the home improvement. The remodel only took a month to complete. Well under the estimated timeline. JR's team of craftsmen were very skilled and professional. The men showed up on time, worked hard, sometimes on the weekend to make sure the next phase started on schedule. Thanks to JR and John for being on site almost on a daily basis and to Anna for her regular phone updates. I mentioned that JR is very passionate and loves his job, but he is also a perfectionist who has much pride in his product. A couple of examples: the cabinet above the refridgerator was just a hair off, instead of shaving it down to make it fit, he replaced it with a new one that fit perfectly. JR inspected our guest bath and found that there was an air bubble the size of a pin head in the caulk, he had that filled. JR's customer service / relationship continues with us to this day. We feel very comfortable calling the office to ask advice or request an adjustment or repair. He has always gone the extra mile for us. This remodel has been relatively stress free for us thanks to the above and beyond the call of duty efforts from JR and his team. HIs honesty, knowledge, experience, attitude, leadership and work ethic made it easy for us to hire him to remodel our 2nd Family home. Both homes are absolutely beautiful!!! I am delighted that I will never have to search for another designer / contractor in the future. Jamie's Kitchen Cabinets is on speed dial at our house. JR, you did change our lives. Jamie remodeled 2.5 baths and a kitchen for me. He was actively involved with the entire process and is meticulous and on top of all of his guys to make sure the work is done right. We hired JR and his team to completely remodel our kitchen. We ended up asking him to also remodel our powder room and bar and build library and breakfast nook. Just because JR and his team are so great to work with. Responsive, punctual and hands on. They get their job done. JR also has an eye for design which makes our projects easier and fun. I will hire him again if we ever have another project.

JR crafted and hung shelves for our family room. The room already had original shelving from the 1950s made out of mahogany. JR did a perfect job matching the style and finish on the shelves and they are beautiful!! I will definitely hire him again when we're ready to do our bathrooms. Amazing work, excellent quality and very reasonable prices!!

We engaged Jamie's Cabinets to do an extensive renovation of our home, with particular focus on the kitchen. Having worked with contractors in past on previous home renovation projects, I was prepared for the worst--the typical "longer than it takes and more than we budgeted" process. Instead, I finally found a trustworthy contractor. JR Mariano not only performed superb work on time and on budget, he was extremely polite, conscientious and communicative. JR from Jamie's Kitchens and his staff produced an awesome kitchen for us! The project on our 1926 Spanish style house was a total demolition down to the studs. JR built beautiful cabinets and helped us harmonize the Italian porcelain floor, typhoon bordeaux granite countertops and porcelain back splash to produce a truly lovely effect. The kitchen layout is extremely functional which I appreciate as a dedicated cook. JR is well organized with great attention to detail - he made sure our GE monogram appliances fit perfectly in a very tight corner. The most impressive thing was all the work was completed right on schedule so we without a functioning kitichen for only one month!
