I hired John Clancy Construction to add a 2nd floor to my ranch home, and to make my basement ADD compliant so we can move my disabled father-in-law into our home. This was a major construction job. John Clancy was great in helping to spec out the project, working well with the architect to ensure the plans were solid. He quoted a fair price and kept to his price and to his schedule. His crew and the sub-contractors he hired were VERY professional. With the exception of 2 weeks, we lived in the home while it was under construction. They made every effort to keep us comfortable during the construction. The final results were better than expected. My father in-law is now living with us, able to easily access the home with the wider hallways, bigger doors, and wheelchair friendly shower. My wife was very happy with our newly designed bedroom, and walk-in closets. I would highly recommend John Clancy Construction if you are considering an addition or any major construction to your home.

Used John Clancy for 3 major renovations on 2 separate houses (in Media/Middletown Twp, a major 4 room addition plus attic and basement finishing & in Glen Mills, a total house renovation [2 floors], including hardwood floors, kitchen, all new light fixtures, ceiling fans, etc). Then he also did a few smaller jobs over the last 18 years. He came in almost exactly on time & cost, was incredibly professional, honest and just an overall good guy to work with. As with any major job, there are always a few minor things to go back later for minor changes or touchups after the job is "completed" and John returned on each job to do everything we wanted, including many things we had just forgotten to include in the original plans. We had to leave our house key with John every day for weeks while we went to work. Nothing was ever damaged or lost and then while we had to be in the house while he was working, John totally respected our privacy. Cannot say enuf about his honesty, professionalism, experience and even kindness in all areas plus at the end of the job, the entire place was left immaculate. He treated the house as if it was his own property.
